That’s definitely one of those 120 hz monitors.
I don’t know much about them. Basically they double the framerate of everything. Cool for some games, gives an interesting effect here. I heard it makes movies have that day-time-drama look to them, if you catch my drift. Anyways, yeah, just look up 120HZ monitors.

yeah, I hate the way the effect looks on movies (it kills the film like vibe and ends up looking cheap). But for nature and CG movies it looks pretty nice.
But for video games, it creates input lag…depending on the game and the quality of the processor. I had a high end Samsung a few months ago, and it did create some f lag for a lot of games. I guess it will improve as new models come in. There already 240hz lcds coming out soon 8-o
In this case they were probably playing on arcade cabinets as usual and outputting to a device with the 120hz capability to record. I doubt they’d actually play on one, for the guy interested.

These videos never work for me. I click on them and the video screen goes black with writing. I left it open for 20 minutes incase it was loading, but nothing. Any suggestions?

What bull. For one, Hz has nothing to do with fps. Also, as that video seems to be directly fed, the monitor doesnt matter one bit. Then, movies aren’t affected. So basically, every single statement in your post is plain wrong.
That video is simply captured with higher fps than usual (60 here, I assume).
