There is no need. Your smiling faces were payment enough for exposing you to the next great field of competitive gaming.
Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire is all about community; a community where only the winners profit and the only venue fee you need pay can be done so with skills which will indeed pay the bills. Said skills come in many forms of denomination, from Double-Dutch loops to the Cha Cha Desmond, all of which exemplify the immense skill and dedication required for what is clearly the most intense and execution heavy game that NorCal has ever seen.
On that night, we discovered that the best in NorCal wielded not a tiger uppercut nor a yoga flame, but a smile and a simple declaration. His name is Jackie Chan, and this is his game.
Jackie Chan confronts me instantly, with an array of attacks that were so quick, deadly and precise I could only spot what would seem to be one punch, but what felt like a hundred hands abusing my body. Colors I?ve still been unable to recognize flashed before me. Combos of elegance, grace and above all deadliness are displayed before my young unexposed eyes. Jackie Chan is not a game for the weak. Jackie Chan throws his children in the proverbial lions den and the only way to ensure your survival is to prey on the weak and become the strong. So many ideas and memories come to mind, but there are only two things you know for certain. He is Jackie Chan. This is his game.
When first discovering the brilliance that is Jackie Chan I was at a loss. I knew the fables and lore of Jackie Chan had to be spread to a new generation to preserve our future, but I was reluctant to begin what would be a long and painful journey. I doubted that spectators of the scene would be able to look past the rough exterior of Jackie Chan, let alone survive the initial waves of combat. I am proud to say that after investing heavily into Jackie Chan in nearly all aspects, both physically and emotionally, I see that the work of Mr. Jared and mine has not gone in vain.
My favorite moment of the tournament was simply exposing Jackie Chan to a new audience. It could be a group of friends chatting over a match being played, or better two new rivals pitting themselves in a duel of honor, but one thing was shared between all who witnessed Jackie Chan. Laughter and smiles brought together a group of people with varying tastes and backgrounds. While we do have many differences, our future is the same. NorCal?s future is the same.
 dang thats funny. For some reason I just thought this when I heard it. Except replace burger with tourny.
So did the tourny actually happen at all? or was it canceled with the $50 being gone? :nono:
Yes, I am trying to make myself look good by stating the truth.
You better keep your mouth shut too. You don’t know me. I had a good reason to talk shit about Blanka because I knew he was jacking peoples monies from tournaments.
Just listened to the phone call and read this. Damn, sounds like he was trying to keep the money by sounding like he was paying for the room. Not cool. Good job calling out this nigga, Romeo.
how come he hasn’t posted for a while. he’s obviously not shady. he should take his time right now to apologize again for “miscommunications” and hype up his next tourney.
