I would definitely make the team tournament the priority tonight. if mgl forces a singles tournament on you just make that the 2ndary event, michael.
edit: it appears the community really wants to transition into a more team based tournament scene. we’ve basically done a whole year of singles. alot of people want 2v2 and 3v3 events. i think this is a great step forward.
seriously i know like 5-6 teams that are coming and wants to play
yeah just make the 2nd event singles since Fuddruckers is 2 days after that event

I’m thinking that we can just use the cabinets for teams and do singles and teams at the same time. If we do that, then we can most likely cap at 16 so we have a nice bracket. We are worried about time constraint. What time does mgl close? Also, we might need someone to help run one of the brackets cuz I suck at running brackets if we run them at the same time. If we have enough time, then we’ll just do one tournament after the other. If we don’t, then I’ll recommend that we start them at the same time. We really wanted this to be just a team tournament, but mgl gave us no support :sad:

its single elimination so just make it 16 teams or 12 at worst but you have to change it.

teams will cap at 16
when you sign up for team tourney, gotta stick with character u sign up with throughout entire thing. both teams blind pick order and then play it out.

Gosh it was radicously Sad B.S. enough how there are no big headline HDRemix tournies being run or posted on SRK and I had to mention it just for one to exist (and I don’t even know how to run a tourney), but now there is no system! As if things couldn’t get worse for us old school players today.
