Street Fighter IV # 4

I enjoyed this series a lot! Joe NG was amazing, loved the way he drew Seth! Favorite parts -

I gotta say, for a mini that, when announced, I wasn’t interested in at all, this has been a real delight. Good art, good story, good action. I’m not sure if the Seth story follows Capcom canon, but I like they way it was presented here in this comic.

Same here, and when El fuerte’s Jaw drop at the end was hilarious.

Nice way to seg way into the super street fighter 4 comic

I felt this series was way too loose. Making a comic to cash in on SF4 before SF2 has even ended made for really poor storytelling. This read like something IDW or Dreamwave released quickly to make money on a fad.

But hey, tie-in comics are made for money, not for creative reasons, so who’s surprised?

A little late lol but Capcom-Unity plugs both RE #3 and SF4 #4.

ooh, so i just read this. LOL at reptile (from Mortal Kombat) cameo near the end.

Honestly? Is there anyone who hasn’t?

Ryu is really worried over nothing. *Someone’s *technique is vastly over-rated.

LOL well it was more about the way it happened, with Seth not having a soul and stuff. And hey in the comic Gen and Gouken are still dead so…

The SF4 comic just hasn’t gotten to them yet.

Maybe…

I do recall Matt specifically saying that Gen will stay dead. But they got to use his SF4 haircut in SF Legends Chun-Li at least.

It has to Gouken actually.

Huh? what do you mean? and isn’t the Gouken in SF IV an impostor anyways?

At least Udon does it way better than Capcom wih story telling. As long as Charlie, Gouken, Rose and Gen STAY dead in the comics then I’m good.

Yes he is Artayes. I wasn’t talking about the game though, since the topic is about the comic book series. I was talking about the comics. The prequel to the SFIV comic series acknowledges that Gouken is deceased.

ok cool, that’s what I thought you meant. Thanks for clarifying.
