That most definitely will not be a problem with our group. We’re all foreigners, with the occasional Chinese player dropping in. In arcades, all you really need to know to say is “let me have a go”. The 3 arcades we usually visit are in Xidan, Shuangjing and Xizhimen. All three of these places are literally on the subway map. You can find them in malls located right next to those stations. We’re attending a tourney tomorrow at 3 pm in Shuangjing (line 10). You head towards exit A and you’ll see a passage that leads to the mall directly. Arcade is on floor 5. Hope this helps.
My experiment worked and I now have AE too! Time to start working on those Mantis slashes! good times!
Just coming in to say you guys fucking suck, I was in beijing for 4 1/2 months and am just now seeing this thread

Before Jet Lag kicks in, just wanted to give a big THANK YOU for letting me and Jie kick it with it you guys! Had a blast and even more of a blast just kicking it without having to run around to see all the tourist spots. If I go next year we should speak Chinese to each other, haha! Came 7th in EVO qualifier, played like absolute ass in the match I got knocked out on but beat some people I used to have trouble with before I left, so that’s cool.
The funny thing is I’m in Vegas for the EVO weekend anyway–so I figure I’ll probably end up going regardless~
