Agreed with Roogle, unless things’ve changed since Spring Festival ended, the queues are just mad at Xidan. Again, I’m down to do whatever tomorrow, but not really fussed either way.

I’m back in Beijing guys. Flight was nice but I feel jet lagged. Next weekend we should definitely get some MvC3 or AE going (or hell, why not both). I’ve got lots of hype in me right now!

Quick AE update:
As Al found out today, Xidan apparently no longer has AE, and having been informed of this, I stopped over at Xizhimen on the off chance they’d have it (since cabs Xidan’s got rid off have mysteriously appeared in Xizhimen before). Xizhimen do indeed now have AE, and according to the banner there, they’re holding an AE tourney on the 18th. This might be the reason they have it at all, having rented it from Xidan, or whatnot, but none of the staff really seemed to have any idea at all as to what was going on. Perhaps Xidan just went mental and dumped their AE in the river around the same time as Xizhimen finally got their hands on it.
Anyway, for at least this week, AE is at Xizhimen and not Xidan.
Yup…it was strange indeed, the AE cab just got replaced with Vanilla, there was a bunch of confused guys cycling in and out looking for it, and none of the staff knew why the cab was gone or when/if it was ever coming back.
Saga to be continued next week…
Now I’m just imagining the Xizhimen guys sneaking into Xidan at the dead of night and stealthily (??) lugging the cab to their arcade, then carefully swapping it with the Vanilla one.
Sadly reality may disappoint.

Indeed that is a strange occurrence but, hey, this is China. Stranger things have happened. So the tourney’s on Friday? I’m guessing that will be early in the afternoon then, right? In that case I won’t be able to attend either due to work. Sad panda is sad.

We’ve requested that they arrive during the weekend because no one is at home during the week before 5-6 pm. Wouldn’t mind having it arrive tomorrow which is the HK version’s release date. hehe I’ll keep you all posted. @Starcade As I’m fairly certain you have the game by now, does it look like Chun/Dante/Zero can be a decent team? Either Chun or Dante on point. Thinking Dante’s OTG assist, Zero’s shot assist and Chun legs assist of course.
I would consider swapping one of the characters out for a higher stam character, but besides that, it could work.
Chun is a total fucking beast with x factor. Holy shit she is fast.
My biggest problem with marvel right now is there are too many teams/character that I want to try out. It is seriously a riot. If there were enough people playing it in beijing I would seriously consider making it my main game.
She looks totally insane! Chun X-Factor has crazy pressure potential. The endless possibilities are probably the biggest reason I’m looking forward to the game. Glad to know that is actually the case. I think I’m going to be focusing a lot on it, at least until the SSF4 DLC comes out. I always wanted to seriously get into a VS game. Can’t wait for battles with you guys!
Yeah this game is WAY too fun. I’m been mucking around with it all today and I think I’ve settled on Wesker/Felicia/Iron Man. Gotta get my kitt-eh in there somewhere and uni-beam is too good to pass on. For Yannis Chun is ABSURDLY fast with tons of very impressive combos. X-factor is a one use only tho, but even without it she’s a monsterous mixup queen. A lot of the semi-launch business, tho which is a horror to pull off for me at the moment. Dante is beast, tons of dmg great range, a bit on the slow end of things in my mind, but definitely strong. Zero I dunno really. For myself I really wanna work X-23 in, but the crum tacular assists she sports all around really puts a damper on it…
Also c’mon Starcade, AE is the bee’s knees.
