Aight so we hit up Xidan’s AE around closing time. Pretty crowded and heavily queued the whole time as one’d expect. The tokens stall was closed by the time we got to play so we didn’t really have enough for us all to play or stick around too much longer. Roogle represented us and got exposed by some Juri player (while Al decided to play KOF13 and also lost, clearly not having read Rod’s excellent KOF advice upthread). Good times had by all etc.
durrrrr - Fake Roogle, QQBert and myself are still in town, so get in touch if you wanna do some casuals or arrange a time to hit up AE at Xidan. Will PM you my local number.

Never used one, bro. Just my 2 cents if you will, but I don’t think the books they have in China are really all that good. If you are intending to work with this person then you are a lot better off devising simple sentences (start with greetings of course) and emphasizing the vocabulary.

I’ve got a bizarrely large amount of people arriving or returning to the city this week, so a week off wouldn’t bother me too much either. We placed the order for MvC 3. The seller had increased the price by 20 RMB/copy but he’s still giving us the free delivery. Hope it’s not an issue for anyone. I believe we’ll have them on the 17th.

i dont know about you guys but the feeling of my TE and Qamba Empire is totally different than the arcade cab,game slower,move wont come out,i think a person should only play arcade if he want get used to the cabs.
by the way im thinking of buying a Astro city with third strike hopefully a double joystick cab i dont know how to proceed ,mind if someone is explain me the price ,handling shipping stuff.

Also, I’ve never had problems with the sticks in Xidan. Have they gone to hell lately or something?
