Wow, this is incredibly creative! Good call on Remy’s SA3, and the new colour schemes were pretty cool. I’m not sure what I can tell you that hasn’t already been said, except keep up the good work! I’d really like to try this out one day.

The method that the game was decrypted will not be public reveald due to possible consequences. For example, multiple numbers of people all editing the game and each making their own game like it was SF4 character skins. This would destroy the already weak community for the game.

I think you should start a blog dude. Almost everyone is enthusiastic over this, but there’s concern over whether or not this is really a re-balance, or a broken rainbow-edition. I’d just like to know what you’re going for. Sorry to reiterate but, is the broken things we saw in the videos just a demonstration of what you can do? Is this just messing around and will be fixed later? Etc.

That said, I fucking love what you did to Alex. I main him, and I think what you did is give him just the right buffs that were needed. Particularly having the Flash Chop reflect projectiles. The only things I can request are: Make his Dive safe (either on block or hit), make his Air Knee Smash un-parryable, but EX version can be blocked if opponent isn’t airborne. I sense that you’re going the KOF-route with him, in giving him combo-able grabs, which I like. But if you’re going that route, I think damage scaling is needed so he can’t destroy someone in like 2 combos. No matter how lolz worthy that would be.

The Yun and Chun stuff honestly scares me. Yun doesn’t need any buffs, but I would be in favor of giving him that kind combo-ability IF there was damage scaling and the SA3 V-ism was nerfed. The SA3 only needs to be nerfed in the following ways: Make his meter burn out quicker, make it so it takes longer to build up full mater, and increase pushback if the opponent is blocking. The common problem with Yun is that he activates V-ism from half-screen away, other guy blocks, and Yun goes at him, he’s barely pushed away, and he of course just needs one hit to juggle and deliver 50% easy damage.

With Chun just nerf her normals. She needs nothing. She’s already godly. Her normals are fast as shit, and have INSANE priority. Just nerf her normals, and maybe make her other supers useful, and nerf the SA2 and make it longer to build up.

It’s a new 3s to have fun with, nothing else… Doesn’t really matter if it’s balanced atm

Two other things: Nerf Ken in either of the following ways; make SA3 two stocks instead of three. And remove his piss-easy links into SA such as crLKx3, and overhead MK into SA. Shotoscrubs will cry that some of the easy stuff is gone, but cry me a river.

For Elena (I don’t think I saw her in your vid) just give her more links to work with. She doesn’t really have much aside from crMK, into whatever. And I believe jHK into whatever.

Edit: It wouldn’t surprise me to know that you two think Chun is perfectly balanced and needs no changes. So go and whine about how someone points out gasp the easy shit Ken can do. I’ve said what I had to before, and I’m not about to repeat myself.

you should add ultra meter and focus attack.

Yun: Longer bar Genei Jin, same duration.
Chun: Nerf normals if possible, if not, then one bar SAII with a (little) less damage will do.
Ken - No kara double jab dragon punch, its a small thing, but yeah, he’s mostly fine.
Needs no changes - Urien, Dudley, Makoto (Love), Q (Leave poor Q alone he’s awesome).

Everyone else needs “something” (wich I wont get into since I barely play with them/against them), I like the idea of an akuma with ex moves, since changing his health makes him, well, NOT akuma, perhaps some more stun bar so he’s not a free win against Mak, also, I expect everyone to hate me and trash me instead of talking about why this and that are horrible changes, but whatever.

I mostly agree with these. Make Ken’s SAIII 2 bars instead. Call the game Street Fighter III: 4th Down :slight_smile:
