Yeah the damage is pretty ridiculous, no shit. Up the damage scaling or health, that’s cool. Everything else you suggested (except for individual SA fixes, maybe parry input window) is not something I agree with.

Suggesting to up health is ok.

thats not easy to pull off, specially in a tournament. PLUS thats RX

ssf4 has similar combos, if one practiced enough they could pull them off and make it look broken. Also if you are an SF fan [not sure with the MK avatar] you would know about akuma’s stun and health, in pretty much every game.
character design consistency and integrity.

Better points:

  1. It takes about a bar to pull off from start.
  2. It’s being demoed on akuma…who happens to be significantly weaker and easier to stun than the rest of the cast for some reason(oh right it’s because he’s insane on offense.)
    3.My 3s knowledge is pretty minuscule, but i’m pretty sure such a combo requires a standing opponent, which means that for RX to land said combo in the crazy world that’s 3s, a whiffed fireball that he predicts seems to be the ONLY way you’re likely to lead into something like that.
  3. If it doesn’t require standing then the fact that the VERY NEXT COMBO IN THE VIDEO starts the exact same way, but doesn’t lead to the OHKO means it’s likely spacing dependent, and is why he chose to go for aegis mixup instead.

Edit: actually #4 is now making me curious if the starting fireball wasn’t an extremely poor decision on the akuma’s part. I’m certain that anyone in any of those clips is better than me, but that seemed like a poor decision to say the least, especially if the combo used on him is common knowledge. Like opening with a fireball vs bison in ST.

Hopefully this can be on Supercade/GGPO. Im dying for a 4th edition rebalanced version of SF3. Capcom aint doing it so I thank this guy for doing it.

If you want 3S that every character has a chance in, then just unlock all 10 pages of System Direction and Extra options.

Give everyone every type of cancel possible, and all their supers, turn up the ease to juggle, with 9 extended meters.

Everyone is good, Ryu and Urien is god. AEGIS x 1987191786 and corner EX Hadouken is an infinite, and overhead into c.mk. into sweep, into ShinSRK into falling EX hadoxShinkuu hurts.

Fun times.

Make Sean 2nd Impact strong again, make Yang 2nd Impact strong again, beef up Ibuki to like how she was in 2nd Impact, along with Gouki, keep everyone from 3S who was Top-Tier exactly the same (Because they will need it if the above characters I mentioned gets those beef ups), beef up the rest of the weak characters in 3S and yes, you’d get my interest.

This game was meant to be simply for fun, not taken seriously, so that would definitely catch my eye. Would love to use 2I Sean and feast on the so called “Top-Tier” 3s characters, lmao.

Edit: Just noticed that Ryu does in fact have 2-Stock Denjin! Haha, pawnage! To the guy making this mod, you know you want to make the bar of Denjin as small as the one that was given to Ryu in 2nd Impact!

The bar is 2/2 but iirc (i don’t remember, this video is old!) you need both stocks to use Denjin. 1/2 is needed to use Shinkuu.

2 stock Denjin bars weren’t small.

If you actually look at it, Ryu’s Denjin Bar in 2nd Impact is only as long as Ken’s SAIII, while only being slightly larger then Yun’s Genei-Jin

However Ryu’s Denjin bar in 3rd Strike was made larger as shown when in compariton to Ken’s SAIII bar which stayed exactly the same from 2nd Impact going into 3rd Strike. It is also now significantly much larger in comparison to Yun’s Genei-Jin Bar which stayed exactly the same in both games.

As to how you got the idea they were the same length in both games is beyond me.

Holy shit; that’s weird, could have sworn Denjin was shorter than that in 3S. That’s what I get for relying on memory. :bluu:

EDIT: Yeah, just checked on DC, its as short as corkscrew blow. I thought it was as long as SA1 in that game. My bad.

denjin takes both stocks to use in this, like oros ex sa2 or akumas raging demon and kkz

The downside to this is that every cheesedick out there who thinks he has a couple “good” ideas and access to these tools is gonna try to “remake a masterpiece.” No thanks, I’ll take the games as is, warts and all.

That said, this project looks pretty interesting and I could see it getting a decent little community online if it were pulled off the right way.

This game is taking the Soul Calibur 1 approach. Give everyone a bunch of nonsense = balanced game.
