Lets fix Alpha 3 next, and put in combo breakers

People are not whiners about pointing out the damage some of these combos do. SF3:3S isn’t a game where you can do a lot of damage. It’s a game where you can do a lot of damage off of no risk hit confirms. SF2 series is where you do a lot of damage. Big difference. This “rebalance” just makes this problem even worse. And the ironic thing is, this type of game play usually does the opposite of making the game more “intense” or “fun”. It usually makes high level play really defensive and slow.

Urien is now awesomely broken.

Before, getting hit with Aegis into combos will kill you.
Now, getting hit with any of his supers into combos will kill you.

And +1 on giving Alex KOF comboable command grabs.

Ah. I’m going to hold off my judgment on the 100% combos after the game is out since it’s still in the beta phase. Right now I’m trusting that, even if this game were purely for fun, he/they wouldn’t be dumb enough to leave that in.

I guess I’m the only one who sees 3rd Strike as balanced. Then again it’s a shitty Tier listed game because it’s based upon player vs player skill. Not so much character match ups.

I probably won’t end up playing it much since I never really got into SF3, but I’ve gotta say this mod is really impressive! I’d love to hear how he/she/they achieved all these tweaks. Good stuff! :clapdos:

More like make the ultra meter gain like the super meter, only at half the speed, and make all ultra’s comboable

Fix the air recovery system. Remove dead-fall (falling head first) on counter hits, make it like all the other sf2 games: regular hits auto tech, special and super hit, no tech. Caught by v-ism hit in mid-air, techable, but be careful. And give the characters ALL their moves regardless of ism. I’d like to play that. The new knockdown system after decades of all fighters using sf2’s standard confused and pissed me off. Hate A3 for those changes, it’s lame backgrounds and art (Bengus did better work in Alpha 1 and 2, and you know it), and the music style change. And I want all my moves, dammit!!
