well, damn, it HAD to come from somewhere!!??!! I hate that there is no verifiable source! well, what about Q witnessing the destruction of huge events, etc, that’s close, right? :razzy:
and maybe he will witness it in the sf comic by Udon, that would be pretty official to me. I like the way they present and tell their street fighter story.
Maybe he will, and if you like the way they present their story, good for you. Official though isn’t about what would be “pretty official” to you, to me, or to anyone else singled out. It either is or it isn’t, period.
well, as much as Capcom retcons and changes stuff it is pretty hard to tell what is ‘official’ anymore. and I don’t know about you, but I would like to think Q was there witnessing its collapse.
I look at Tiamat’s guide now as the real source. I love that thing. I know you helped with it.
If you mean CUSA, then yes, not to mention that along with the majority of its overseas fanbase, it doesn’t give a flying iota about what’s official. CJ however, not really the case, especially considering how much they’ve released, for 21+ years now.
And yeah I thought Q witnessing the fall of Shadowloo was true since it was in older versions of the SF Plot Guide, but if vasili10 says otherwise go with that, he knows his stuff. That’s still not Q in Ken’s SF2 stage though lol! :razzy:
thanks, Sano, for letting me know about Yun and Yang in the next issue!
YES, I thought that about Q was in the plot guide! That’s where I went to retrieve it and it was not there! Thought I was crazy! lol and yes, if vasili says its not true then its not true. sad, because I wanted Q to witness it and it was the little information we talked about with Q that we THOUGHT we knew about him!:looney:
and yeah, its not Q on the boat! you are right that he wouldn’t be cheering and such! I couldn’t see Q doing that either!
OK a few things-
1- In #2 you drew Yang and Yun a little older than they should, they look like they are the same age as in SFIII which years after SF2 and 4.
2- Liked the focus on FeiLong in this issue
3- Adon vs. Dhalsim was pretty sad; I was really hoping for Adon to win
4- I like how you are mixing the plots of the Zero and SF2 series in this book
5- Fuerte being an R. Mika fan is THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO THIS SERIES! Loved his R. Mika cosplay suit BTW!
Best issue so far IMO, but man PLEASE GIVE ZANGIEF SOME MORE SPOTLIGHT! I’ll say more about this in the UDON Q&A thread.
I love Chamba’s style, especially in the fight sequences. The attention to detail is just awesome and the sense of motion just keeps it flowing from frame to frame. He seems to take on different perspectives and angles that most comic artists wouldn’t touch due to difficulty.
And just look at when Adon does his super, he drew each individual frame of it with the same attention to detail as the colored foreground Adon. Same as Ken’s Shoryu Reppa in the previous issue. Top notch.
I agree.I have to get used to Chamba’s style.I’m so used to Alvin Lee’s & Omar Dogan’s style,I guess change is better.Like you said though Sonic, there is amounts of details in this issue especially with the supers & stuff of that nature
