another great issue.loved both backups and to see Gen maybe for the last time in the comics.No Ryu,but everything is leading up to something huge.hopefully issue 6 comes soon.
and anyone know when the powerfoils will be out?issue 4 and 5 powerfoils are nowhere to be seen.hopefully they werent cancelled.:sad:
Issue 6 has a lot of Ryu.
One thing I found odd was the speed at which Gibson found Guile. I mean, she dove out of a helicopter into the sea, and then suddenly she finds Guile. She must be a world-class swimmer.
Yeah I thought Gibsonās speed was crazy too. Maybe she was really motivated.
Overall, I enjoyed the issue. I thought the art was some of the best yet. It does seem like there will be a lot to resolve in issue 6, but I anticipate it will be well done.
I think Iāll spread some SF books around as X-mas gifts maybe itāll help get it noticed more.

This issue reminds me, why we LOVE SF comics in the first place, why we are waiting so anxiously forward to the next one to come out and bombarding Udon with our messages and replies - but it is worth every second of it.

You are THE BEST artists in comics nowdays - on the same level as Jim Lee and Mark Bagley - with noone else on the top!
Please, keep up the FANTASTIC work and - even though you arenāt making any money with the series - PLEASE LET SFII GO FURTHER after issue 6. More arks. More characters. More money (make an issue as expensive as you whish, it is worth every cent).

Good issue. Guileās āupside down kick,ā Roseās little grab your shoulders and flip over your head move, etc., etc., still notice them, still shows me the artists have knowledge and love of the source material. And continue to give the people who play the game little easter eggs like that.

DA GAME bought the last copy at his comic store today & love this issue.Gibson mustāve remembered what day Guile does his training or something because she found him Johnny on the Spot.Alvin Lee art is always superb.DA GAME loves how he draws a womanās legs.Itās a shame that SF II#6 is going to be the last issue & it BETTER not disappoint.Hope itās a double size with a poster of the cover inside.
If #6 is the last issue,then Udon should to some mini-series issues of most of the characters like how they did Sakura.DA GAME would be interested in a Sagat Legend mini-series.

This comic was AWESOME.
I love the art, exciting, nice stories.
What I liked in this issue:
-Bison Psycho Crusher
-Rose putting her hands on the dummies heads, like sheās a preacher or something
-Gen, great story, chun-li looks cute, and I love his sad eyes picture, really stands out.
-Karin training, and then when that fat guy showed up, man that shit made me crack up.

Nice stuff. For some wierd reason, Juliās gas mask made me think of Doctrine Dark. And Gibsonās definately a trooper. Just team her up with āgrumpy, surly Keiā and theyād be unstoppable. :wgrin: I like how they set things up to resolve both T.Hawk and Cammyās SF2 endings.

It was was another great issue. I was cool to see Guile again and would be awesome to see him for the big showdown.
The backup story was excellent. Gen has always been portrayed with alot of depth in this title. And the backup story was oozing with emotion. Nice work!
I hope the next arch is the WW torney. Itād be great to see all the characters again.
Yeah, now that you mention it - very like Doctrine Dark. Was he a Shadaloo agent ever? Befor Charlie was introduced in the games, I always thaught of him being that missed friend of Guileā¦

I loved Bisonās Psycho Crusher sequence and the dolls āsandcloak appearanceā was cool.
Doctrine Dark was a former buddy of Guileās. One day, D. Darkās unit was ambushed by Shadaloo forces and D. Dark was the only one who survived the attack. The attack disfigured his face (which is why he wears a mask) and caused him to go insane. He blames guile for his condition (itās not clear why, but chalk it up to insanity).
Thatās what I remember from the SFEX games.
