The first lineup from sota toys will be Bison,Ryu,Chun Li, Sagat, and Sodom. Wierd choice on Sodom, but great lineup. Cant wait for these!
Wow, Sodom?? That is weird. I had assumed it would be the four main characters plus Bison (Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, and Bison). Ah well, I’ll definitely be getting Ryu, Sagat, Bison, and Chun-Li. Hopefully Ken, Guile, and Akuma will be included in the second wave.

SOTA claims they have license access to every Street Fighter character made (with exception to the EX characters) and they intend to make every one of them, as long as the sales are there. I think it’s a good idea that they split up the roster and not add all the main characters the first time out, it makes the series last much, much longer.
Anyone know the true release date for these? I’m buying two of each…
It’s said to be release in the summer. And the reason why they have Sodom in the first set is because around a month or two they had a contest(which i didn’t get to enter ) where you have to guess the other 5(Bison was shown) characters in the line-up. If you guess right you get every character they make (or was it just for just the first line up?, forgot)
Maybe they needed more bad guys? Maybe they are banking on this being a continued success for several series? If they used all good guys and only Bison as a bad guy, it would be kinda whack. Also if they gave away Ryu, Ken, Guile, Vega, Akuma, Zangief, Cammy in the first series, there would be nothing else to use later on.
I know they aren’t extremely common, but i’m sure there are Sodom fans in the world and there’s gotta be some people who will be happy to get the Sodom figure. It just makes a whole lot more sense that they release it now in the ratios they are using now, than doing something like …

Series 2: Ken, Cammy, Zangief, Vega, Akuma
Series 3: Alex, Ibuki, Sakura, Rolento, Gill
Series 4: Dan, R.Mika, Sodom, Eagle, Adon
It would be kinda hard to get people hyped up for Series 4 lol. Then only the typical generic characters would ever be released and that’s no fun. So yeah, it’s a weird choice to put Sodom in Series 1 but it also kinda makes sense.
Yeh, I see your point. They have to leave some heavy-hitters for later series to keep fans excited, and put at least one lesser popular character in each series so they don’t get stuck with a line-up full of them later on. Makes perfect sense now that I’ve given it some thought.

Sagat! One word- AMAZING!!! Anyways,they explained why he has a pupil and simply they added one whilst sotatoys was busy and didnt pay attention,or something like that. But it should be fixed with no pupil and I couldnt believe how great he looks. Gimme!
