Street Fighter Fan Film

lol Dolph Lundgren what character is he surposed to play? plz do not say ken or i will personally have that film production company killed.

Ken.

Better get to work now.

Did you not read my last post? At the time, he was rumored to play M. Bison. It isn’t too hard to believe.

Street Fighter the new movie !!!

Street Fighter the fan film ! :nunchuck:
Staring me ! and only me! I’m going to be all the characters!! Nope! not going to have any martial arts background whats so ever! Actually I’m going to get fatter for the role. :wasted:

The whole entire film is going to have really cheesy stuff.
Such as the way over done slow motion Matrix and other crap seen in Kung Pow !!! [especially the annoying tounge thing] :wow:

Then and only then will people hate my movie more the the other live action one!!! :encore:

HMmmmm and no I’m not serious at all :lame:

Someone could make a stop-motion film using the action figures. I made one once with my DBZ figures, and years ago when I was a kid I used to make dinosaur ones with my dinosaur toys, they’re pretty easy to make but take ages. With some good editing software, you could add fireballs and stuff.

But I would like to play Bison. I’m going to make a Ryu costume for Supanova so I can take a photo with Cammy-Fighter, and hopefully some other Street Fighter cosplayers if they go. My friend is going as Soundwave. Cammy Fighter updated her pics too - http://www.spin.net.au/~amiga/Cammy/

Wow, a whole movie with one guy playing all the characters? Sounds like Eddie Murphy or Mike Myers movie. And yaay, over-done Matrix ripoff scenes, it’ll be just like every big hollywood movie out there these days! :stuck_out_tongue:

Funny idea though.

Videos and action figures

Yay !! We’re talking about the fan film !!!
If we ever did a fan film, I could ask my dad if we could borrow a camera. Hell I would save my money and go out and buy one. I’m not to handy with computer software. But I have some friends who make stupid movies all the time. He films us acting like asses then puts it on the computer and makes it funny. Though we’ve haven’t done that in awhile. :wonder:
spidey I know what you mean with the action figures. This kid in my economics class made this funny gurellia warfare video with all these old school actionfigures. In my opinion it was the best video in the class. very funny!!

lol wtf is this?

Maybe you guys havent seen the live action HK SF, there is also the Korean tv series. At least the live action Van Damme movie had its capcom license straight with a producer from Capcom of Japan working with them, but the others pretty much just took the characters and shat on them.

Wow

Really. Never heard of it. Sound awsome and funny at the same time. Do you have a link?

nice avatar. That’s a crossover I wouldn’t mind seeing! :lovin:

sf the movie 2 hasn’t been in limbo for years it was only announced mid 2004. Also i have a few people in mind who could play in the sf movie namely steve terada could instantly be ryu! who’s steve?

That dude does look like he’d be a pretty good Ryu, if he can act and talk both English and Japanese pretty well, he’d be great.

I’m gonna get a few mates together and try and make my own short film, just to see how we go. Or maybe a trailer… a lot of fanfilms these days never get past the trailer stage, it’s like that’s all they set out to do in the first place, make an epic trailer for a movie that will never come out. Check out the Grayson trailer if you want to see what I mean.

Grayson trailer sucks…i’ve seen it its too crouchign tiger.

Also steve is fluent in english he was born here and live sin sanfransisco. He’s been doing stunts lately he’s in memoirs of a geisha…did deadwood and sum other hbo show. Also he break dances with his crew.

Cool. Yeah, the Grayson trailer just seemed like an excuse to try and fit as many DC characters in one short space as possible, there’d have to be like thirty good and bad guys, and it’s got really obvious Matrix music playing through the trailer, if I was to make one, I’d try and use a soundtrack that was a little less obvious. Then again, even real trailers all seem to use the music from Planet of the Apes, Aliens, Stargate, or Excalibur.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Keanu Reeves would make a good Ryu (awaiting flames). As well as being famous and trained (Matrix), he looks more like Ryu than Japanese actors (most likely because he is half asian). Unlike Tekken, where Kazuya, Jin etc all look blatently Jap, Street Fighter characters like Ryu don’t.
As for Ken, I recon that guy from ‘Road Trip’ and ‘American Pie’ series would be perfect (Scott something).

Mohammed Ali

why are all u actors american?! and not anywhere near asian…

I’ve told millions of people that Seann William Scott would make the perfect Ken. He is absolutely perfect.

That’s his name. Yeah, I agree he is a perfect Ken  but mostly for Alpha - not too sure about SF2 or SF3 as SWS seems more teenage and I doubt he looks the type to have a wife and kid.

Mohammed Ali

First rule: don’t just pick people cuz they look like these characters in other movies, or you THINK they would be good as these characters, Make sure they are martial artists. Otherwise all you’ll get is a remake of the first movie with better ACTORS. The acting wasn’t the problem, it was the fighting. Hell, you can use Carmichael Simon as Ryu…it doesn’t have to be some uber-japanese lookin’ guy with no skills. How about Mer-Mer Chen as Chun Li?

HOLY SHIT?! someone on srk with a working knowledge of tournament martial artist?! that goes beyond bruce lee?! my god. my steve terada refernce wasn’t lost on u at least.

I disagree. Just like all of the actors in the Matrix, whoever is casted can be trained however necessary. Seann William Scott isn’t exactly scrawny, and he has experience working in a martial arts film (although I haven’t seen the film.) This isn’t to say a background in the martial arts wouldn’t help, just that it isn’t absolutely necessary.
