Hey,ShinjiGohan we gotta set something up with you and your crew one of these days to throw down in EX3!
We didn’t get to do it at ECC due to the high demand for Marvel that weekend and I tried everything in my power to go to MW but couldnt so.
I know you guys dont really play EX2+ which is my personal fav,but maybe we could get it on EX3 sometime!

from what I’ve heard most of our group isn’t interested anymore. if we can thats great, but I doubt anything will happen.

After the numerous blunders I’m kinda done with trying to make that meet happen.

Well, the Big leg drop isn’t too bad, once you get used to the distancing. But as somebody else said, he doesn’t have to rely on crossups as much as Zangief or whoever else.

As for punishing mistakes, he has the DDT if you need to take a quick step forward (and it’s also useful to catch people offguard during pressure strings). I’d say he was pretty well-rounded.

Those combos in the Domination video, are they done in training mode with juggles on? If so i take it they are not possible in actual play? I cant really tell since my friend and I only recently started playing ex3, but any info on those would be cool. thanks!

No juggles were on, the only thing Training Mode kinda cheats with is the Tag bar filling faster. All juggle properties are real though and all combos were done by either Gen or myself, meaning one person at the controls for each combo. Any questions you have ask away.

That is most correct. However there do exist some combos that you can double tag and what not, though it is highly character dependant and what sort of situation you are currently in (in terms of the opponents condition, whether they’re in the air being juggled or on the ground or what not).

Does anyone use the IMPACT Emulator? It runs SFEX3 perfectly, but i don’t know how to get the netplay to work. Anyone know how?

To correct you. The old impact emulator only ran the arcade versions of
SFEX, SFEX+, SFEX2 and SFEX2+. And it used a lot of hacks and what not, so from sounds to graphics, it was way off and was far from perfect.

Zinc was a newer emulator that replaced impact. It fixes almost all of the errors that impact hand, and the few that have been left have been fixed but not yet publicly released.

Though for the netplay of impact, IIRC, you had to know your ip address and the ip address of your opponent. Type it in and connect to them. Though I never had someone to try it on so I have no idea how good it was.

hmmm well the version of impact i’m using seems perfect to me. The only thing wrong is the sound, but other than that the games run at a constant 60fps with no graphic anomalies (sp?).

You must be playing SFEX, though EX2 and EX2+ have them.

Nope, i’m playing EX2. EX2 plays perfectly except sometimes the sound is a little bit messed up. No graphic anomalies at all.

So you don’t see ANY missing parts on M. Bison? Or a bunch of triangles on Hayate?

Hey it’s good to see yha still keep STF: EX3 alive and well.
It’s all about Bison/Shadow Giest!!!
Are there any players in MN (Minnesota) that play this game?

As far as I know, no. I do however live in IL. And I recall someone from Wisconsin playing EX2+. So we’re kinda nearby.

woot, new zinc is updated to 1.0. ^.^

woot looks like they even have netplay, though it desyncs pretty earily, but who knows they might get that fixed.

WAs fooling around with SFEX2, and saw some cool thing with Vega that they took out for whatever reason (ok ok I read a faq but it was still quite enlightening), when you do his groound claw roll super, if you hold up+p during it, he’ll jump out in the middle of it and do a Sky high claw, if you do a K instead of a P, he’ll do his Izuna Drop/claw Dive depending of the timing of your punch.

With that said I immediately tried it out in EX2+ and EX3 and it didn’t work in either of them. -cries- Though I guess it really isn’t needed in Ex3 with momentaries and all, but it’d still be nice.

Updated my site today (rather finished with 1 update). So now the movelist for all of the characters in SFEX2 are done.

I still have SFEX2+, and EX3 (sorry Richard, I love your idea, but it doesn’t go with what I have in mind for my site), and after those two are done, I’ll redo SFEX+a movelist.

To those that would like to help ^.^, after the movelists are done I planned to make a separate page for every single move. So someone would click on Kens move ā€œShoryukenā€, and they would come to a page that has all the data on the move, from damage, uses, when to cancel, frame data etc… So if you wanna help just start turning out bare HTML files with the same background that I already have and have in H1 heading the name of the move. I’ll probably make some tables within the page and put data in it. But you get the idea.
