My favorite characters from the new cast are Hokuto, Nanase, Area, Skullomania, Sharon, Vulcano Rosso is ok, and I like Pullum, but I hate D.Dark and Darun. I think Garuda/Shin Garuda is a bastard-ass motherfucker. So many stupid assholes that couldn’t beat me in SFEXPA had to resort to using Shin Garuda and his bullshit instant counter move…until I found out that throwing them worked well! Hayate in SFEX2P is also a really cool character…especially his clothes. By the way, is he considered a top character in SFEX2P? He seems to have some mad priority…

My vol 1 should be available on #gamecombos via SSJHibiki. At least he said he’d host it, and I sent it to him. The anime cutscenes I put at the beginning and end are too loud, but that will be fixed in the next volume.

Speaking of which, this is what I recorded so far:

Kairi vs Bison, 21 hits, approx. 65% damage.
crossup j.HP, d.HP, d.LK XX Sairou Kyoushu XX Garyu Messhu XX Sairou Kyoushu.
(Straightforward. Credit to Josh for the d.HP-d.LK link.)

Kairi vs Pullum, 16 hits, approx. 75% damage.
meaty s.HK, F+MK XX Shinki Hatsudo XX Garyu Messhu XX Sairou Kyoushu.
(An impractical meaty combo, and AFAIK the only way to link into his Ryuubu hopping knee from the ground.)

Allen vs Chun-Li, 6 hits, approx. 30% damage.
LP Soul Force, Fire Force.
(Done a full screen away, toss the super fireball right after you recover from throwing the regular fireball. Both Ryus and Akuma can do this too. Credit to Josh.)

Allen vs Skullo, 17 hits, approx. 60% damage.
Triple Break, HP Justice Fist XX Fire Force XX Triple Break, HP Justice Fist XX Triple Break, HP Justice Fist.
(Another 4-level combo from Josh. The final Justice Fist is tough to connect unless all your cancels were early enough.)

Allen vs Ken, 17 hits, approx. 75% damage.
crossup j.MK, d.HP, d.MK XX HP Soul Force XX Fire Force XX Triple Break, HP Justice Fist XX Triple Break, Justice Fist.

Darun vs Sakura, 9 hits (8 + airthrow), approx. 80% damage.

(A slight modification to Josh’s 4-level Darun combo. Back up a tiny bit after the third super so you don’t get crossed up.)

Darun vs C.Jack, 13 hits (12 + catch), approx. 95% damage.

(Nothing special here, except for the way Darun’s j.MK looks.)

Blair vs Ryu, 11 hits, approx. 40% damage.

(If both hits of the Shoot Upper connect, you cannot connect any supers after. If the second hit misses…)

Blair vs Evil Hokuto, 20 hits, approx. 65% damage.
crossup j.HP, d.MP, d.LK XX HK Shoot Kick x3, d.LK XX HP Shoot Upper (1 hit) XX Spin Side Shoot XX Mirage Combo Kick (1 hit) XX Spin Side Shoot.
(With proper spacing, the first arcing kick of the Spin Side Shoot hits more than normal. This ties into Josh’s 100% combo below.)

Blair vs Zangief, 24 hits, 100% damage!

(When positioned perfectly, Zangief is the only character in the game that eats 4 hits instead of 2 on the first arcing kick of the Spin Side Shoot. Get that timing down for both supers and you have a surefire KO. What works for me it this: cancel into the first SSS immediately when the second Shoot Kick connects and right when she’s about to raise her leg for the final hit of the Mirage Combo Kick. This combos connects on Darun, but does only 20 hits and about 90% damage.)

they arent bad combos, but alot of it is just a bunch of super canceling…

I am open to suggestions. If you have a good combo, let me know and I’ll credit you for the combo. BTW, I’m already going to credit you for supplying me with the game.

well, if memory serves, i had a good akuma combo that went something like-

j.hp, c.mp, c.mk, qcb+mkX2, d+mk, c.mk, hcb+hp(or qcf+hp)XXqcbX2+p

ofcourse there are optional super cancels at the end like XXqcfX2+pXX(air)qcfX2+p but i usualy would just save meter. oh, and i’m not sure about the c.mp, c.mk link, like i said, i just posted it from memory.

I have a combo very similar to that planned for Akuma already, as well as the funky one colguile mentioned a few pages ago (that one’s a beauty). I’m not there yet, though; I’m just working my way down the roster as it appears in Expert Mode, adding the four unlockable characters at the end.

When I use supercancels in these combos, I first consider if they’re worth doing in terms of hits, then in terms of damage. If a super will only juggle for one hit, for example, I won’t include it unless it either does significant damage on its own or can be supercancelled into another super that will do significant hits and/or damage. In the second Blair combo, the Mirage Combo Kick did only one hit, but it led to a second Spin Side Shoot which contributed 5 more hits (but very little damage). In a real match, I wouldn’t use any meter in that combo; the three supers put together did no more than 15% damage. But in a combo video I think it’s alright since the supers contribute 10 juggle hits. Hell, I wouldn’t even do that combo in a real match in the first place… if I land a crossup, I’d rather get 70%+ damage with the easy-as-hell ground 3-super combo.

I’m sorry, I can’t do it now. My computer’s been hit with a virus (@#$&*% sister downloading God-knows-what) and my system is crippled.
