LOL I think I may have suscribed to this chanwa, i personally don’t think he’s that good but he posts regularly. Trust me if shinji posted all the time I would have suscribed. I have seen his stuff, its awesome…
The point being made is that people seem to favor CPU versus, using cheats and laggy online matches over legitimate player matches. Not to mention putting the person in question on a pedestal.
That’s pretty sad.
I’m with ya , I don’t get what’s so popular facing CPU… Unless it’s like an idea how single player mode is like in Arcade version . Otherwise I’m not viewing it .
All chanwa has proved to me is that a) he’s master the AI in SFEX (which isn’t really all that hard, especially compared to ST or even HF), b)he’s mastered some decent combos with excels (but since he seems to always play with infinite supers he always has that chance to do some max combo) and c)loves to tier whore ST Akuma (won’t enter any legitimate tournament if Akuma is banned).
I’m still waiting for his EX3 video though.
BTW I was playing around with Sagat in SFEX. Looks like you can link his c.mp to s.mk. It’ll do a few more points of damage than c.mp to c.mk, and its still special and super cancelable. Basically its a win win. Same timing, more damage, maybe just slightly more difficult to execute a neutral standing mk into a special but still not that difficult.
I used to play SFEX using Hokuto in the 90s. I’m thinking about getting back into the series again, since I wasn’t too fond of the first one. My opinon of it might change with the sequels.
The obvious choice would be to go with the last game in the series, but is there any reason the EX2 games might be better than EX3?

EX2 is more Alpha 2 like.
EX3 is like EX+a but with more options via tag and momentaries.
Wow, I remember playing EX3 at a friend’s house but I don’t remember any tag stuff. All I remember was it had awesome music. lol
But yeah, the tagggin could be fun. Though, I am fond of the Alpha games. Well, it couldn’t hurt to buy both games to try them out.

Was pretty close to recording some matches of EX2+ last night of me and my friend. I decided to wait when my brother could play, that way we could get a variety of different characters being played.
you should have recorded them anyway and uploaded them after you recorded the set against your brother.
The best character in the EX series is obviously Darun Mister I got mad hops and grapples with that man
Regarding c.MK and s.MK, I’d go with the low version, just in case they don’t block.
