i saw the japanese one, but it was 47 dollars. i hope that the translated one will be cheaper
SF EC US Edition is slightly delayed. The reason being we wanted to put some original contents to it then just doing a direct translation. We want this to be a good companion, as well as a better value than the Japanese original.
Added stuff includes a brand new interview with SHOEI & Kinu-sensei made at San Diego Comic Con, an updated SF merchandise section, etc. We are also gathering the US logos and packaging art in addition to the Japanese logos and packaging seen.
The book should have a cover price of 34.99, with approx 300 pages thick.
It is now schedule to ship late November to early December.

The japanese version is worth around $40 or $50? well cause its import, but if any of you (in toronto) went to Kikiwai’s (dt/metro) store then you’ll kno how expensive the 100 page artbooks are =P, e.g uzumaki naruto = $40, 146 pages. So everyone who loves street fighter should get this book.

Sounds great. I wonder if theyll have an explanation on the names (Bison/Vega and so on) and why there are differences between the comic and the games.
And whats the paper going to be like? Like the Image SF paper, like Devil Due paper or something else?
Is the lay-out of the pages going to be exactly like the japanese version, just translated?

The Eternal Challenge book won’t actually be a comic though so would it be in there anyway?

Wow Udoneko, when you’re saying “niku-sensei”, are you saying that Niku Nishimura and Sensei are the same person, or only you’re refering to her as a “master”?
I was thinking Eternal Challenge would be distributed the same was as the comics. I assume comic shops would be able to order it or would it only be sold by gameshops? I’m in Australia and we don’t even have the Street Fighter Anniversary Guide.

Your local comic shop should be able to get it through the ‘Previews’ Catalog that Diamond distributors put out every month. I think it’s in the July issue of Previews. If your store can get the comic they will be able to get this book. I’ve already got my order in 
Kinu Nishimura is a girl from Capcom who worked in the designs of Capcom Vs SNK series, Mobile Suit Gundam : Federation vs Zion, Marver vs Capcom series, Dungeons & Dragons Shadow Over Mystara, Cyberbots, Cannon Spike, Street Fighter III, Rival Schools, …
And she’s the character designer of the tv anime series “Overman King Gainer”, where Akiman did the mecha(robots, etc) designs.
