Anybody else coming in from the bronx? where does the J train stop along the red or green lines?

Coming from the Bronx, you want to take the Green Line to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, and you’ll be able to transfer to the J Train. Once on the J, you can just take it to the stop on your invitation, and presto.

You can also transfer to the J from the Red Line (#2 train) from the Fulton St stop. :wgrin:

I should get there around 6:00 - 6:15 or so. I get out of work at 5:30 and I catch the J at Broad Street. Hopefully it’s not too cold, raining or something like that.

i live right where the green and red line meet up in the bronx, so the green line is the shorter trip for me

I am, I’m taking the D on the Concourse, transfering to the F and then from there transfering to the J line. As for the red or green lines can’t you just shuttle at 42nd street?

Yeah take the 4, 5 downtown and switch to the 6 at some point. Take the 6 to Canal Street and on Canal you can catch the J. You can catch the J at Broadway Nassau AKA Fulton or Brooklyn Bridge too if it’s easier.

Help a Jersey guy out. What is the fastest way to get there by rail? I’ll come in by NJ Trans or Path, so whichever is the quickest, please let me know. I know there are probably other Jersey people who are planning the same thing.

From PENN STATION:

Take the A or the C train BROOKLYN BOUND to BROADWAY NASSAU STATION. From there transfer to the J, and take the J over the Williamsburg Bridge to KOSCIUSKO STREET.

From KOSCIUSKO STREET STATION you’re going to need to head to BROADWAY between DODWORTH and LAWTON.

When you see me (I am a white girl with glasses and a ring through her nose) feel free to give me a hug for telling you how to get there easily.

Unless I have it wrong, at which point I need you to tell me where the train in from Jersey would leave you so I can give you better directions!
