Another Round Robbin from the same day, but this time it’s A/X-ism only! Didn’t watch it yet, I have no time, maybe tomorrow. Anyway, have fun guys! ^^

At the Karin thing you said. This is true. Japan is missing one good Karin. Today there is no Karin that does everything she has. OTG VC’s, Re-activation Infinite etc. There are Karin’s with good basics, safe rush, much match-up experience, but nobody seems to get into the deep stuff. The last technical perfect Karin was Crusher I think. The one and only Karin player. Japan needs a killer Karin again. Just for our viewing pleasure. =)

Anyone get that A/X tournament file from the Game Inn Sakura page? I think the URL may be wrong or something.
I didn’t got it myself because I uploaded when I was at work. But my connection broke up and the next day I couldn’t upload at all. I had it on 72% :sad:
I asked some german players if they got it, but have no response from them yet.
Same thing, i had just about 20%… But it is now works, (my dl stopped again today for some reason though). I guess ~360 mb of top japanese stuff worth it anyway :).

It seems that in A/X tiers really dont matter much, just the player… Dan, Blanka, Birdie and now VER’s Adon, all of them have won top level tournaments. Or maybe they are just banning dhalsims… :chat:

Highlights… V-Guy… and he has a win actively using v-combos and counter-activations. One of the finest akuma player out there Swiftly(Sassa) have 5 matches here.
The one of the highlights this time is to watch Kamiyu’s V-Guy. He does a really good job. Sadly he doesn’t finish VER when he had a 100% to do so. Maybe it was the heat of the battle that make him not take the chance to kill VER.
But if you look at the situation around 1:40, when Kamiyu get a FF chain with Guy and VER has life for only a fierce. Kamiyu continous to juggle with a s.mp XX slide. Instead of activate the VC and kill VER 2-0 in his favour. This is sad because a win with V-Guy against Ver would have been so charming. But anyway, he did great!
And Imakiti’s V-Akuma is SOMEWHAT experimental.

~80 mb file, semifinals and final. Nine players participated.
In semis there were X-Adon (VER), V-Sakura (Kusagame), V-Akuma (Mongar), V-Vega (Maho), guys like Toma and Morikawa were unable to make in into top4.
Its again some spectacular stuff, like Ver’s x-adon raping v-sak, them japanese are really into crazy characters this year.
^WAtched that vid, damn got me very interested in playing X-Adon now :D.
I feel like watching some more A3 matches now, so can someone recommend some good Gief, Dan, Sodom & Adon matches? Thanks

A lot of elite players, such as Nekonohi’s Sagat or Crusher’s Sodom… Kantona, Majikaru, Inbe, Nike, super clutch Charlie player - Waiting Nash and many more. Must watch/dl.
In after-tourney comments Kantona mentioned UZ7, like “everyone keep it going, see you there”. Now a news… but it gonna be hell of a tournament. 22-24 September baby!

Sweet. Just a little thing I noticed with the editing; as you could guess, the 3rd match is Maho (Vega) vs Morikawa (Ryu), but at the select screen it says Morikawa vs Mongar.
BTW, ending to that match was toooo good.

I normally organize videos in playlist by character etc, but I haven’t had a chance to do that or even add video tags to most of the stuff in Update E, and not for some of D, either.
