Yeah, I read that…but that’s for leagues (and apparently, Moosehead’s idea will involve donations for hosting a reliable server, etc). Now if the servers were totally flawless, I’d pay…but that’s not going to happen.

xvsf and mvsf are played more than a3, 2k2, and st. a3 is played. 2k2 is kind of played. st is hardly played. why would u make it invite only if the whole point is to find out who is the best?
in my experience ladders are impossible. players dodge other players. players dont report losses. players make up excuses. admins never do anything cause there is just too much bullshit going on. id love to join if these things actually worked. but theyre usually more of a pain in the ass than anything else

Whats the whole point of invite only? What if someone decided to make a new account because they had too many losses? Or what if a top player wanted to make a new account to smurf on scrubs?
And don’t worry about it being invite only, like you said, the whole point is to find out who is the best. The top players in each game will find out (like sffan did for a3 for example) and request to join. The ladder will be advertised on Anti3D.com and on several forums… not to mention word of mouth =)
This is why this is an Invite only, moderated ladder.
