Hey jz_chu237 don’t get discouraged. There’s always going to be someone who you’ll think is better than you. Keep drawing and learning…Check out deviantart for a great artist community…you’ll find some great fan art there as well.

Anyway wakasashe you’re amazing, Blue Chris that is so cool. Seeing that makes me want to experiment with acrylics and other mediums.
I guess it’s easy to get discouraged but i also love to be inspired. You should definitely post more.

Im probably the most vocal (and hated) critic of the comic here. I dont think i have really commented on this issue yet.
This was the best issue. No contest.
Good:
Exposition (interrogation scene) was not as stilted as previous issues. It actually was a good and easy read.
Scene transitions didnt feel choppy or random.
Good variety in settings and situations.
Art was consistent.
Finally were going somewhere.
Bad:
Everything Cammy does, everything she says, every scene shes in - is a clich. Cant we try to avoid that?
Fei-Longs scene was long and didnt go anywhere. We got the point when Chunners was briefed already.
Thats it.
About the back-up, i prefer Garzas regular style, but i can appreciatte how clean and neat it looked. I liked the backgrounds - they look better than the usual backgrounds in the comic. I hated the mugging (both girls didnt look even remotelly cute or pretty as theyre supposed to be), and i think the throw looked like anything but a throw, but overall, it was good.
Back-up story’s art seemed… a very funky style to me. I didn’t like the style very much in many places, but it still feels like a lot of effort was put into it and I think it was good from a quality standpoint. Just… stylistically looked odd in many (but not all) cases, to put it nicely.

It was a very good read, however, I prefered #6.
The best bit in #8 has got to be Mr.Lee’s quotes (NO I didn’t take the idea from Fei Long to use his quote in my sig, I’ve been using that quote for AGES now).
I’m mainly eager for #10. Gosh the powerfoil is like mindblowingly awesome. A close match to Ryu’s, but not close enough.
Issue #06 is my all time favorite Street Fighter issue, although #08 is up there. It was probably because the issue was mostly focused on one story (Ryu’s), featuring my favorite SF characters (Akuma, Ryu, Ken).
I think Ken (writer) should make more issues like this. One entire issue devoted to the story of just one character, AND have the cover relating to the story.
