- I’M GONNA MAKE THE COOLEST CHARACTER EVAR, HE WILL BE NAMED EVIL-SHIN-GOD-DARK-SUPERSAIYAN-RYU-AFTER-HE-SWALLOWED-AKUMAS-LOAD-THE-FIFTH-REINCARANTION
- I’M GONNA REPEAT STEP 2 FOR EVERY CHARACTER SO I CAN HAVE THE COOLEST FIGHTING GAME EVAR (SEE STEP 1)
I’M GONNA HAVE THE COOLEST SUPERCOMBOS/SPECIALS EVAR (BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO ANY COMBOS IN ANY REAL FIGHTING GAMES). - I’M GONNA POST MY VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE BECAUSE THE GAME I MADE IS THE BEST GAME EVAR

Hmm…came in to post my opinion but I see it would be redundant to post it.
If you make a program that has easy coding, people will abuse it. I hate the DBZ vs Naruto SSJ 8 battles as much as everyone. I just don’t know why every rags on MUGEN then turn around and start praising doujin fighters. People who really appreciate fighting games sometime try to sit down and make a game that’s tolerable to say SRK community standards but it will always be bashed because It’s too difficult for some people to step down off their high horse and give things a chance.
Of course it’s going to be broken and unbalanced, how many games aren’t? No one is asking for tournament play out of the damn thing, just simple minded fun. God forbid you enjoy playing a fighting game without winning. Alex, you should have known better to post this here though. Something like MUGEN is just fish bait for flaming.
I’ve enjoyed MUGEN sometimes by watching ridiculously high computer AI fight one another. Even placed a few 1 dollar bets on a couple of matches all for a good laugh. What makes MUGEN so enjoyable in the first place is because it’s so broken to begin with.
I’m sure your game is cool. I would even ask to download it if my pc didn’t suck so bad. Don’t be discouraged and keep up the good work. Just never add a anime character into the mix, and you’ll be fine.

hell if you make sure all of your characters are girls from some obscure visual novel that guys play on their parents computer when the are supposed to be sleeping then you will DEFINITELY have a weiner!!!
