3S is my favorite game of all time, and although I love all the characters and music and stages and depths in storyline it brings to the characters, I really couldn’t stand to go back to the previews two titles’ gameplay. 3S is perfection enough to me, and going back to worse gameplay is not ideal for me.

What a hideous filter. On emus I do it with either no filter or just 2x pixels. The weird smoothing ones create some bizarre shapes and lines sometimes that can make some characters look odd. Especially with faces and accessories.

I’m glad they seem to be including the extra colors. A custom palette maker would be incredible.
The picture… doesn’t look good but being more familiar with setting 3rd strike as unfiltered as possible, I am biased.
neither of the colours in that pic are extra ones. i’m somewhat torn on that issue because a lot of the extra console colours are an eyesore imo.
filter looks a lot more elegant on remy than hugo, prob because of the angle. i use an sdtv so it’s not a concern for me, but if this will make the game look better to prospective buyers with better tvs, that’s great.
It’s Remy and Hugo’s legs. And Hugo’s legs look more detailed. Like thicker ink lines. Probably showing off the graphical filter.

Any filter like that is gonna look bad when you’re taking a low quality photo of it upclose.It looks similar to the MVC2 HD filter that looked pretty smooth on HDTV’s.I wouldnt worry.
If MVC2 is anything to judge by, they’re gonna have filters out the arse for you to choose from anyway.Also I say, bring on the extra palette colours.If you look at the palette mod thread in the Computer matchmaking section you can see some wonderful stuff done and I would love to see a variety of colour palettes on console aswell.
