Some of them chill with Japan’s best more often than the number of videos you’ve seen of said players. I think they have a bit of a voice over yours on the matter.

I’d be outright shocked if 3s saw a revival of any note even with this release. It’s an 11 year old game that had its day in the sun, and you’re talking about it competing for one of six slots at EVO 2011 when there’s already a boatload of newer games that will be competing for the same spots. Games with active scenes, and games hyped up to hell that’ll be out by next year.
Some videos of the top Japanese players winning matches in a different tournament format with shitty characters won’t change any of that.

My advice if you think that Makato being able to basically touch of death you with a grab followup with SA2, Urien’s unblockable crossup (even tourny players can’t get out of that sometimes and that includes RX), and the stupidly overpowered abilities of Yun/Chun are balanced. Then go smoke more crack.
Considering the fact that Makoto and Urien rely on those things to be tournament viable yes I need more crack. If you wanna play a footsierific game where you can sit back and crouch tech 70% of a person’s offense unless you play one of the 3 viable rushdown characters they have a game for you.
