If you pre-order 3 other games (to me the new bloodrayne game seemed mildly interesting and the rest not interesting at all) you get a 5th game free (also a game I’m not interested in).
My feeling was “I’m going to buy on release day anyway so may as well make my ps3 look like 3s while I’m at it.”

Hmmm . . . maybe I should invest in a PS3. For those who play other fighting games on PS3 & 360, any noticeable differences? I’m leaning towards PS3 b/c online play is “free.”

when sony says an offer goes “through” a certain date, i’d recommend using it at least one day before that. i tried to get that welcome back package on the last day it was supposed to be available, but it had already expired.
i’m glad they let the game be part of the playstation play promotion. people who didn’t have plans to buy it might see it being advertised through that.

the main reason i’m glad ( besides getting the different backgrounds ) is that hopefully someone who doesn’t play fighting games will look into the play program and pick it up.
