And you can still get that along with a remix option for those of us that would like to see it & everyone can be happy. Hell I don’t even wanna see any nerfs, just buffs given to the low tiers to make them a bit more viable. Especially Sean, he had it coming but damn, they went to far.
here’s my idea of rebalancing: adjust some super bar lengths (Chun, Yun mainly).

Than everybody will just play Ken/Makoto/Yang. It would be like 2005 all over again lol.

i don’t know if new people were buying that or if it was all people who wanted a new port for their hd tv’s with online modes.
if you think new people will want to buy third strike and play it for longer than a few weeks a rebalance is surely a must.
even if the game is as close to playing offline on a single arcade cab of 3s thousands of you fuckers will still complain about it.
i personally would love something other than just a straight port with online.

i think they could do a really good job of rebalancing 3s IF they are given the time and resources to properly test it.
I think it’ll sell just because it’s called Street Fighter. If they promote it enough, and highlight good matches like the Daigo/Wong video, and showing RX/Kuroda/KSK/etc beasting it could be do even better among the general public.
The game definitely needs a rebalance.
Well I did enjoy 3S when SFAC worked on XBL back in the day.
A re-balance sounds fun as long as they keep the original untouched version in too as an option to choose from in the menu at least.

Seriously guys, if they don’t re-balance this game, ANYONE who buys it, is wasting their money(unless you don’t own a single version of the game, or GGPO). A re-balance would give people a much stronger reason to get this game, at least I think. I sure as hell don’t want to pay for a game I own on 3 separated systems including PC.
Also, even if some players here aren’t the top 10% of players, I think it’d be much more interesting, even as a spectator, to see a hell of a lot less Chun-Li.
im all for tweating the roster a little but how is that a waste of money. i can now play people without using ggpo (which is a heaping pile of garbage until you actually get into a game). what if it has lobbies? replays? improved training mode? the ability to host system direction matches for fun? even if its just ggpo and a filter ill fucking take it.

Obviously there are more people here who own consoles than there are arcades in the US. If you wanted a perfect arcade port, play the PS2 version. It is close enough.
Ono and his ilk have the perfect chance to take a game that is obviously broken with all of the Chun/Yun domination, a reason why I have never liked 3s in the first place, and change it to where all characters have an equal chance to win. In other words, 3s is just exactly like Marvel, and obvious changes are needed.

i imagine it would be on the PS/xbox stores. the game wouldn’t be big enough to require a whole CD (at least i wouldn’t think so) even with new stuff. also as history has shown, capcom has put most of its re-releases on the ps/xbox stores (mvc2, street fighter 2 hyper fighting, sf2 hd remix)
i hope they include the ng/2i soundstracks on this also the stages from ng and 2i and costume colors
