the art and especially the losing art in si are great. also the stages from si over ts, we should actually just have both tbh in a game like this.
ts has better gameplay, better music and also better voice acting by far. they need to blend best of these games to make the perfect online edition imo.
also rebalancing was the only thing along with ggpo that truly mattered for this game. guess they just dont care enough to spend more money on it that the bar minimum. not that rebalancing would cost that much.
Yeah, they did give him way too much freedom in certain games. His alternate costume designs in I think MI2 were pretty controversial.
Rebalancing would have delayed the game since they only announced it so recently (relatively). For a full rebalancing that the community at large would be able to get behind, the game would be coming out next Spring. For that, Iāll take my mediocre Q and repeatedly throw him at stupid ass Yun and Chun.
These promo art images have a gross metal alloy texture to them, that falcoon stuff would have been a disappointment too, he does show some of the characterās personality, but everyone has a pugly, snobby, punk kid look to them. Would like to have seen more of a traditional anime look, ultimately I wish they would have reused/recreated the original 3S art, no need to reinvent the wheel. Again, Iām sure this is their way of rebranding 3S to make it more in line with the current fighters. Marketing will always destroy creative genius. i.e. The Simpsons, music in general, etcā¦

your confusing yourself with people that actually play TS and want it to be more balanced for the sake of playing a better game than what the original is. if you cant see that the original has its flaws than im pretty much done talking you, enjoy your perfect game.
also for simple changes not costing money that would make a huge difference:
yuns geneijin fills slower but depletes as fast as it does normally when activated.
chuns sa2 becomes 1 bar instead of 2.
sean has a better hurtbox on his dragonpunch so that it can combo more easily. easier combing his hurricane kick into supers, and his ranbu super having 2 levels (like in si) wouldnt hurt him either.
simple changes like this cost basically no money at all for capcom to do and would at least change the balance of the game for the better easily. for people that actually want a better game that the og TS instead of the exact same copy with the same flaws. for all purposes they can add a non balanced mode for players to choose from like in ae. i can guarantee you which one will be choses over the other.

You donāt understand how business works. You donāt just sit one guy down and go āmake these changesā and in a day heās done. It takes many peopleās decisions to even get something to the point of starting. Those decisions take time and that time takes money. So before anything has even been touched, thousands have been spent. Shit doesnāt just happen magically. Funds need to be allocated, they donāt come from nowhere, they come from the same large pool that a whole lot of development is using.
There was no reason for it monetarily and Capcom obviously has no interest beyond the good job they seem to have already done. Their return will likely be the same regardless of ābalanceā. Thatās wild speculation but I would bet their return will be well within their desired goal.

I was thinking dash up grab with Makoto and Urien, air fireballs and tatsus everywhere with Akuma, and mash wildly with Yun until Genei Jin and mash wildly while in it. God Iām looking forward to OE.
