The health bars, Ryu’s started all the rounds like this. Gief’s is red (rather than the actual health bar). Also, when I get hit, it’s actually displayed by having the red meter drain. Ryu’s did not change at all.

i notice another bug where if they disconnect from the character screen, you won’t be able to get passed the VS screen, i thought it was my connection to psn, so i when on single player, and still stuck at the VS screen, i had to reload the game to fix it, it happened to me 3 times so far.
Has this happened to anyone else. I was playing versus blanka and I hit him during the early frames of his electricity and my character had lighting swirling around his body the rest of the round it was hilarious I looked like a character from dragon Ball Z.
Was playing my friend online, then the next match, which happened to be on the Spain stage, everything was black on my screen. All I could see was my character, the health bars and super bars.
After the match ended, the game would error after the VS screen. I had to restart the game.
why dont you guys make this more useful and actually post on the capcom unity forums? where they read the boards, very frequently. no use posting here if maybe only seth reads it, occasionally here and there. plus we are already discussing this stuff in the hd thread
