I’m on it! Let’s take a look!
The PS3 and 360 have an ability to output their audio on a separate outlet than the HDMI. So you just get plug in your a/v on the xbox along with HDMI and feed the RCA audio to a mixer with commentators, and feed that to your computer. If youre using a PS3, you output to RCA in the sound settings and do the same thing.
If you want to do duo commentary, get a mixer with at least 2 XLR inputs.
There is another way if you have usb microphones, but it’d require you to change levels through your recording devices settings.
Look on the bottom, there should be a model number. It usually starts with SCPH, or something similar. Read it off to me and I’ll let you if your PS2 will work. Not all of them will, but 90% of them are softmoddable.
Yeah, I looked it up found I’m a 7000-something and found this:

Anyone got a cheap copy of 007?
Do you happen to have 007:Nightfire? That game works as well, and I recall it being a lot more common, although the process is a bit different.
Careful with that slide tool, if you ask me you may want to try taking the top off of your PS2 and disassembling the drive, using the magnetic holder on top of the 007 disc to hold it in place, then replacing the disc/magnet with the exploit disc. If you aren’t up for taking apart the PS2 then I guess go ahead and use the slide tool, I don’t like that method personally.
If this is too much for you, see if you can find someone to install a universal install of FMCB onto a memory card for you.
^ OK guys take the converstaion to a PM. Please lets try not to stray off topic of streaming and branch into the fuzzy realm of console modification. Thanks.
Technically speaking, upscaling the PS2 is important to streaming so…
I don’t know I suck at forum rules.
And FMCB is not important to streaming so… Your argurment is invalid now. So take it to the PM, please.
So help me with these

This one is an example of what it looks like raw

This one I put through Handbrake and this was the result on auto
Both of them cut off the left side. What I have basically so far is a PS3 and 360 put into a HDMI switch which is then split (one for the TV and one for the HDMI to component converter) the component converter connects to a component switch and the output on that gets split (one in the TV, one in the Black Magic Intensity Pro).
I “quoted” myself, I know. I have deduced it can’t be the switches or the splitter because other things work fine with them, I have narrowed it down to my issue being THIS.
How’s that for important to streaming?
Hi there, i want to do a streaming via ps3, but im having some problems.
I know that the Ps3 hdmi is HDCP protected, that why i bougth the HD Fury3, to my discomfort i noticed that i just can´t connect directly the Hd fury 3 to my avermedia live game hd.
With this equip can i stream from the ps3? or i have to buy another thing? Thank.
This guy did it:
He was apparently using this to get the video:
Hell… so the Hdfury dosnt work for this?.. i bougth it, because all people said that with Ps3 you need the HDfury… Fuuck.
Plz help.
Thanck!
From what I understand that’s pretty much why it was made.
Yeah, but the issue is that you just can´t connect the Hd fury directly to the Avermedia live gamer HD. Because the output is VGA.
Ps3->\Hd Fury 3-> Avermedia?
I dont think that there is a VGA to Hdmi cable.
The HDFury also can push component video out of it’s connector – usually it comes with such an adapter out of the box (if you order the right version). Is the Avermedia solution HDMI only, or can it take component in? If it can take component, get the component adapter and hook it up through that.
My problem is that the Avermedia live gamer HD is just HDMI. It doesn’t have component socket, and the HDfury only come with the RGB and that weird component cables.
Weir that the crosscounter asia guys, recommend the HD fury for the avermedia…
Last I checked, avermedia pci cards are supposed to come with a breakout cable.
Like this one:
Wou! that cable, the Gamermedia HD dosnt come with that. Anyone know were i can order one? That cable look amazing! and seem that can fix my problem.
For any chance, do you know the name of that cable? maybe i can order one.
Not all Avermedia Cards are created equal. The pictured breakout cable is only for the Avermedia HD DVR, which coincidentally has a very similar cable that looks like HDMI. However, it only works (as far as I know) with the HD DVR.
The GameBroadcaster HD has component input as well, however it’s through a D-sub to YPbPr (Component) adapter.
If your Live Gamer HD only has HDMI, then thats it’s limitation. You could try finding an Avermedia Center program with it’s HDCP taken out.
