Always thought the whole idea of being part of a group to be able to refrain from drugs out of choice/free will was pretty stupid. Just do what you want. Why use peer pressure to help drive your decisions? If you don’t want to do drugs, don’t. Make the decision yourself, alone.
When it come to giving something away i dont have any thing to give but pure passion of gaming and wanteing to make a gaming group thats is amazingly talented.
I run this Tournament company called Who Got Next? Gaming and i got people like lizard like to sponsor my event. So i am shore once i get this group with a good amout of gamers that are talented and able to win tournaments. i will be able to get some sponsors. Also my LONG TERM goals will be to take the best gamers to evo, japan.
If you want to speak about money thats personal and we would need to speak some where more private.

Theres a decent amount of us who are Straight Edge, but making a gaming group for it just doesn’t make much sense.
Also, sXe at it’s most hardcore is supposed to refrain from anything that harms your body, including promiscuous sex and caffeine. Typically though, it now just tends to refer to Drugs/Drinking/Smoking. It just depends on how you “define” it, which in it of itself is a silly thing to have to do. If you personally feel the need to consult a rule book to see if you can do something or not, you’re completely missing the point. I was straight edged for years before I even knew it was a label people gave themselves, and I only started applying it to myself out of convenience.
I do understand the idea of getting together and gaming with other straight edge people, and whenever I do gatherings at my place I do the same no drinking/smoking rules because I don’t allow that shit in my house at all, and I enjoy it a lot more. But posting this on an internet forum isn’t a smart idea anyway, because we’re all separated by region, so theres no point.

You write like a 10 year old. Not only is straight edge a stupid, attention whoring waste of time, but like Silks mentioned it’s just peer pressure to get others to do something, almost the opposite of why you claim your group exists in the first place. Let people make their own choices, as you expect them to let you make yours. The reasons why you should and should not do something are generally pretty obvious, and you can make your own decision on whether something is worth your time or not.
I find straight edge as a group to be pretty fucking dumb, but a gaming group that also just happens to be straight edge? Even dumber. Nonsensical. Inane. Whatever you want to call it, it shouldn’t exist. Your group will flounder and you will find you have wasted your time.

Yea i know i like them alot. they inspired me to make a bad ass gaming group. I thouhgt Straight Edge Gamers was a good idea but i guess not i will be redoing this and making a normal group if i cant get any members.
