Someone spoke about the music and matching it with the combos, in the majority of the kof combo videos that is very well done. You just haven’t seen them. And if you don’t understand some things that do have their reason to be there and they are too unknown for you shut the fuck up and figure out that it’s your fault for being ignorant. Like complaining because you see combos with fireballs first and all that, it’s exploration dude, if you missed the videos where they were all practical combos it’s your problem RAT. That became boring and spent 5 years ago.

editing, whatever you want, book. There are some ppl that say edition instead of editing “department of edition”, there’s where in a tv channel the ppl make the editing. Or is it department of “editing” smartass?
the point was that song has been overused to the max, in fact im pretty sure its the most common jpop song used in combo videos

“Edition” is a word, but it’s not the word you’re trying to say. It comes up a lot on Cyberfanatix and it’s always weird to see.
By the way, i’d say about 20% of KoF combo videos have outstanding editing and about 80% of them have fucking terrible overediting. More effects != more professional.

They use the word edition because many of the moderators are spanish, and “editing” in spanish is “edicion” which seems closer to “edition”. Equally I haven’t been in that page in 3 months.
i think i posted this somewhere in this thread already but seeing as it’s been bumped i guess i’ll state it again: i didn’t mean any disrespect to ANY combo video makers with this thread, and this is far from a set of “rules” that i’m trying to prescribe to others - it’s just a set of personal preferences that, at best, i hope other combo video makers will agree with and seek to avoid in their videos. i’m not trying to tell anyone “this is how to make a video.” hell, i’d have no authority to do so, given i’ve never made one myself. but just as not being a musician or a director doesn’t preclude you from having an opinion on what you like to hear in music or see in movies respectively, so i think it’s acceptable of me to state what i like to see in combo videos. 
p.s. seeing as the other thread was locked, maj, i didn’t mean to sound disrespectful, but if you don’t believe you’re an srk celebrity i dunno what to tell you
Please make combo movies more like:

Because they use quality editing. They don’t use excessive editing. And they take their time, do their homework, and review their content before release.

I feel I should also point out that I feel mostly the same, and wasn’t really singling anyone out.
It’s not that i take offense or anything of the sort. I’ve just got no idea whatsoever how to respond to something like being called a celebrity. Should i start selling autographs?
Let’s be realistic though. If i started acting like i own the place, the mods would put up with that kind of behavior for all of about … 2 minutes, tops. Doesn’t matter who i am or what i’m known for. I hope it doesn’t seem like i can do whatever i want, cuz i sure as hell don’t feel that way. In fact, being friends with mods also means i don’t want to do anything that makes their lives difficult or creates a complicated situation.
Besides, i’ve never even won a tournament. How much of an SRK celebrity can i possibly be with that kind of track record?
