I drink unhealthy crap 24/7 and consume over 6000 calories per day. I am 6.2+ feet tall and weigh ~200 lbs and don’t need Bloomberg to tell me what I can or cannot drink/eat. I work and pay my taxes even though this retard mayor didn’t do shit for Brooklyn during the blizzard and told people to go watch broadway when people died because ambulances couldn’t get through.
I’m tired as hell but still go out at 5:30am to train and stay in shape even if I didn’t get that extra sleep.
People who are over-weight, fat, obese, etc, need to stop making excuses and blaming others and start working on themselves. No one is forcing you to buy drinks with sugar. Those same stores sell water. When you got time off, no one is making you watch TV instead of exercise. If you want to know who is keeping you down then look in the mirror.

Soda is basically sugar in liquid form.
Not to say I agree with the legislation, but there is a rational reason for wanting to reduce the size of the container in which people can purchase this stuff. We tend to judge portions by the size of the plate, cup, etc., and if we have a drink in our hand, we tend to drink from it unthinkingly until it’s gone.
Obviously, you see the problem here, vis a vis gluttons walking in the streets with the biggest size possible, short of the socially unacceptable 2 liter.
I don’t drink pop. But doesn’t he know that banning something is gonna make people want it more? And most people that are fatasses are that because they don’t excercise or eat right (I myself am a fatass,but workig on that). people are still gonna drink pop. Its a dumb law.
Too put it simply if you ban cursing, people will use other words to use in its place. You will never ban cursing the words will just change like they have consistently throughout the years. Penn and Teller got this one right.
