My dhalsim and vice needs a lot of work…they get pretty fucked up during matches.
Whimsey has a Tekken machine…Tekken 2, sadly.
I used to play Vice but dropped her a long time ago. I’m sure I play her better now, especially since I’m used to a grabbing game nowadays.

You are better off going to TILT… The Stockton Whimsy’s sticks are far worse. Super tall competition sticks with concave buttons…

Attention all old skool Stockton players:
Lately, I’ve been havin’ a sudden interest in Stockton’s fighting game scene back when Golfland was still around. If anyone wants to tell some of their stories (like matches from the past) then please tell them. I’m sure that the new generation of fighters such as myself, Snake and Impact would love them.
BTW, I remember a long time ago when I was still learning to play CvS2 that there was this guy named Robert that kicked everyone’s ass all around the valley. If I wasn’t mistaken, he was the only person in his time that was able to pull off A-Sak’s Sho-Sho-Sho without fail.
I also remember getting my ass kicked in SvC:Chaos by Ace’s Hugo. Which was odd considerin’ I used to play Choi and kind of match would supposed to go in Choi’s favor 'cause of the many different combo possiblities.
I remember playing back in the day at Stockton Golfland. The only guys I remember from those days are the PPD guys, Phuong, Blackheart, Tinh. It was always hot, and they had boppers running around all over the place either playing some racing game or DDr/pump. One instance pops into my head, where a tourny held there had some misinformation…basically someone ran off with the pot money for the tourney. That instance really hurt the scene in the 209.
I go to stockton sometimes to visit my buddy and train at the pacific coast jiu jitsu center…we gotta hook up and play some 3s impulsze
I live in Elk Grove, but I work in Stockton…across the street from the old Golfland actually. Yeah, 3S…I suck so good at that game!
Me… New Generation? Not really. I was whimsy’s best CvS2, MvC2, SC2, Initial D and DDR player about 2 or 3 years ago. THE stockton CvS2 chun pioneer (except for this other guy, but I’m the one that everyone copied), the second A-groove Sak/Bison whore after Robert. Arguably the best SC2 player in town, The second guy in stockton to have a green aura in Initial D, the guy who never had any trouble doing anything in DDR. I then got bored with the fighting game comp of whismy and realised that if I wanted good matches I would have to go to SGL instead. Went there for a while and Then they eventually closed and I stayed away from fighting games and arcades for a year or so. Fast forward to about 8 months ago and a new and improved Snake emerged as a 3s player and a much better MvC2 player. I’m now trying to get back into CvS2.

Is robert that guy with glasses and acne, or the guy who usually wore a leather jacket and had curly hair. Ah SGL memories. I used to play tons of people at mvc2. I almost won once too! I remember it was psylocke vs sent, we both had the same hp. I was going in for the kill, sent does HSF, I do…butterfly super. DAMNIT, I coulda had that shit. I miss SGL
