update: sagat’s tigerknee got toned DOWN!!! omg, so like it doesn’t even hit on the way down if the one on the way up touches. maybe it’s a small char thing…more testing.
and another thing i wanted to mention is dhalshim’s 2nd ultra seems really good against fireball type characters. he can like poke from mid screen, then buffer the air ultra grab, and if they answer back with ANYTHING, even like a jab or a fireball, the grab will hit. seems pretty good. and if they don’t, you can just teleport back. you can also use it as a tick. for example, if you do like a close poke c.lk or something, and then just go right into tigerknee motion ultra, if they option select or grab, they get hit.

just got back from como after playing hella super last night. my impressions are that the new characters arent as top tier as they say they are. all this top 5 non sense is BS. cody is not top 5. ibuki is not top 5. dudley is the only character out of the new cast that has potential to be top 5. maybe dee jay. when i posted “supposedly akuma, sagat, ryu is still top 3”, i will confirm that they still are. they still have the tools. no more easy/lazy wins now. you actually gotta try with the top 3 which i kinda like. yes, akuma is S class(if aaron really did quit, its a shame. akuma is beast). chun will def move up a rank for sure.
console characters - besides dan and rose, console characters are laughable. lol at gen no more s mk xx hands. lol counter ultras…sooo useless. with dp’s being weaken in general, seth is probably worse than his vanilla version. to weigh out the pros and cons. pros - his dmg upped a lil. honestly thats all the pros he gets. cons - weaker dp dmg, no more juggles so if u trade dp, cant headstomp no more and since his vitality is still the same, ppl are more likely to jump in on seth and take the trade since it will NEVER be in seth’s favor cause dp got nerfed in general and with knowing you cant follow up after a trade, who gonna be scared to jump in now?
oh well. going back to como on wed. OH YEAH!

original cast - ill skip the top 3. honda stayed the same just about. blanka sort of got nerfs on his ball damage but no change other than that. guile…LOL. ken received minor buffs. chun is what we all expected. gief’s lariat got nerfed. his lp spd range is some what the same (yay). sim’s normals increased in damage. dont feel like going too much into detail.
console revisited - lol fei, cammy, gen. buffs for sakura, rose, and dan. thats it. im an ass. not gonna go more into it.
super characters - im tired. ill come back tomorrow.
