The sceens look good, but is it possible that Namco coulda fixed that silly game engine, that made it a snore fest to watch at the tournies, and brought to us another great F.G.?
The game is what you make of it. I’d be lying if I said that they didn’t already find some things that change how an aspect of the game is played (there’s a way the opponent can get advantage after YOU parry one of HIS attacks. Negative sense-making.), but it overall makes more sense than 2 did at this point in time, and G-Step was removed, so you can’t 8WR and block at the same time. There’s actual oki in this game, lots of guaranteed setups. Again, it’s fun, but it’s only been out a little while.
Don’t get your hopes up, just enjoy it while it lasts. Pick a character and go nuts.
