for someone with alot of knowledge, you sure dont do ANY of them when u play. your first paragraph is just laughable. if you throw a fireball, you cant dp? its called timing. you threw it out at the stupid time. do you even know what the fireball/dp trap is?
offense is almost always better? you must be smoking something. going on purely offense means you just have alot of tricks the opponent doesnt know about yet. defense is ALWAYS better.
you know what, im not gonna go into anymore detail. you play how you play. against rex, aks, etc. you will ALWAYS lose. why? cuz they can DEFEND against your offense.

All you’re doing is taking advantage of the fact that he doesn’t know what to look for when you stand still like that, and putting yourself in a bad habit, and you will subconsciously try to do that shit when it matters. you’re not even gonna give yourself more options, and build meter by doing abel’s anti air grab???
My point is you should always DO something even while turtling, build meter, throw out something to try and make a reaction, find better footing. Standing still, mashing one move over and over with no deviation, walking straight in one direction without changing, all of this is the same thing. your staying in one position and not only is that boring it really isn’t effective either.
