lol. yeah, i have no guilty gear experience or anything like that so this type of system is all very new to me. i need to sit down and figure out like frame advantage, when to barrier guard, how dashing works cause when i tried to back dash, i can’t just cancel into my anti air if you’re chasing me down. i got hit a couple times thinking i could but i guess backdashing is a set distance where you can’t do anything until it completes which is not the case for marvel. in marvel, you can cancel backdashes or forward dashes with anything.

yeah in Gear and BB dashing is set, so committing to a dash in this game (even moreso than Gear) can be pretty risky. It’s actually a bit new to me too, as I played characters in GG with good backdashes (high invincibility, low recovery) but it seems like that, in general, is not the case in BB. As Aaron was telling me earlier, everything seems to have a consequence in BB, except for Taokaka’s 5b :lol:

Not at the moment, but I may have you hack the TE to work on both consoles, just so I only need to haul 1 stick anywhere. I’ll let you know when I decide what I’m going to do. Of course, if you do, just make sure you have a board that allows for all 8 face buttons functioning as I know some of those don’t.
