AH3 for me. MvC3 is a completely different game than 2 just like how SF2 is different than 3 and 4.
SF4 is going out the door. I’m playing Marvel 3 till KOF XIII drops. The main reason I hear people switching to Marvel is because Marvel is actually FUN too play. SF4 is a turtle fest besides a few top players EVERYBODY else turtles.
I haven’t played Marvel yet to decide. Most people will say Super because its a security blanket game. linus from peanuts shit.

Going to be picking up MvC3 and playing that until AE gets placed on consoles. Although I do like Super, the consistent lag is highly annoying. Why doesn’t Capcom use the GGPO net code that was used in Final Fight for their newer games? Hopefully when SF3SO comes out, GGPO will be the net ode.

I never played SSF4 to begin with outside of playing with buddies for ten minutes on PSN. MvC3 all day erryday

With that said, IF mvc3 does not meet my expectations -as far as depth goes- there’s always MK9 right around the corner.

I’ll keep playing SSF4 every week, but less hours. In June/July the AE DLC will come out and that may shake a bit the scene, I’ll probably be splitting my time between the games by then.
This is completely true. A major portion of SF4 , SSF4 players, etc only played the game because it was popular and the only thing everyone was playing. I only played SSF4 for the same reason, it was popular.
MvC3 is gunna wipe the floor with SSF4. I guarantee at least 50% of the SSF4 community is gunna witch to MvC3. I know atleast 15 of my friends that are gunna play MvC3 over SSF4
I will probly not ever play SFIV ever again. I never was a huge street fighter fan to begin with and the only one I ever liked in the series was 3rd Strike. I would much rather play MvC3, BBCS2, KoF13, Arcana Hearts 3 and Mortal Kombat if its good.
There’s NO chance I’m dropping SSF4. I’m new to the fighting scene relative to most of you, it seems. SF4 was the one that spurred my interest in it, and SSF4 was what REALLY dragged me in. I’ve fallen in love with SSF4. Yeah, I’ll give a good month’s time or so to really work on MvC3, but there’s no chance I’m giving up on SSF4, no chance in Hell (unless MvC3 is really the godsent game people are acting like it is…which I doubt).
MVC3 all the way, but I still show love for SF4.
I’m not a competitive tournament player - my friends and I are above scrub level, but we all just play for fun and money matches.
Will I buy MVC3? Of course. Will it completely replace the chess match that is SF4? No, I don’t think so. With MK9 and TTT2 coming out as well, there are a lot of options for fighters. Unless you’re a serious tournament player with legitimate chances of placing well, I see no reason not to enjoy all of the games, as long as you think they’re fun.
I’m sure MVC3 will get a lot of attention, at least until MK9 comes out. Then finally AE will drop to get us all back on SF4 again.
I stopped playing SF4 a little over a year ago, but it’s still fun to watch every now and then. Mostly just been playing MVC1 since then. MVC3 and TTT2 are the only upcoming fighters I’m excited for, and I’m more excited about them than I have been for any game. Ever.
I’m definitely gonna make the switch over to MVC3. I’ll still play SSF4 every now and then. But I love my fast paced fighters. Here’s to hoping for a Darkstalkers 4. I’ll drop everything for that game. John Tal-fucking-bain all day!!!
MVC3 ALL DAY, SSF4 is getting shelved like Woody in Toy Story 2. I’ll be back for AE so I can play some buffed Makoto, but I’ll be focusing on MVC3.
