They need to get their shit together at SNK and release that shit asap. I’ll be sticking with super/AE untill KOF releases simply because Mvc3 will induce epilepsy attacks and looks way too chaotic/random. The reason I play fighting games is footsies and fundamentals, not infinites etc.

My impression too. I will give it a try, but i wouldnt be surprised if im blind after playing a few hours. I like the effects in SF4, in MvC3, it looks a little bit like you could get a sensory overload. Maybe it feels different when playing, but im not hyped much about it.

I really don’t get the MvC3 hype with casual players. Everywhere it’s MvC3 this MvC3 that. Capcom is going to make a shit ton of money and 90% of these people won’t be playing in a month.
SF4 is completely out the door when mvc3 drops i may pick it up again when AE comes out but i doubt it.
Both probably more marvel till AE drops. And i think mvc3 gonna be full of newbs and scrubs because its much more noob friendly than SF IV.

Without a shadow of a doubt I’m jumping. SF4 is far too slow and doesn’t have enough focus on fundamentals to be a good SF game, may as well go right over the top.

I wonder how people will adjust to playing both at the same time. They are waaay too different gamestyles. Its possible though. Many Japanese (S)SF4 players like Daigo and Tokido said they will be playing MvC3, mainly because it will be more popular than SF4 in the future, and they are right about that.
i’ve never played mvc series before and every time i watch videos of it, i am completely lost at the constant chaos happening on screen.
I’m gonna play mainly MvC3, but I still get hype in SSF4 everytime I hit someone with Gief’s U1. There’s no way that ever gets old.
I’m excited for my MvC3 team T.I.T.S. (That Incredible Tiny Squad, why what were you thinking it was about?? lol) - Ammy, Arthur, and Zero.
After the DLC comes out I’ll have to work Shuma into a team somehow.
Yeah, the dynamic of teamwork in this game adds so much to the depth and complexity. I think that’ll give the community more to enjoy over time. I just hope people give it a shot.
Also, I asked you guys to choose one because I realistically don’t think you can really try to excel competitively at both games. At least not me, not enough time in the day >___<

MVC3 likely will barely leave my console for a few weeks when its released. i may pop it back in again if some of my non marvel playing people on xbl fancy a game on ssf4, but its mostly gonna be marvel for me.
plus my girlfriend is expressing interest in playing it! Win-Win!
I will definitely play both but SSF4 will be my main game especially with AE dropping soon. Marvel just looks like one of those really fun games. I feel its to buck wild of a game for me to consider taking it seriously. I will play it though, no doubt and Im sure it will be hella fun!!!
