Stick diagnostics?

I got a JLF-TP-8YT-SK recently and it feels like it’s acting up (corners aren’t too responsive sometimes) and I was wondering if there are some tests i can do to determine whether i’m crazy or if it’s the stick.

First of all, what PCB are you using? Then we can go from there. If you have a MCC, you can just use Windows device manager to check.

Ah sorry forgot about that, I just did a simple swap for my PS3 TE so i’m pretty sure it’s not the PCB.

Plug it into a PC, go into control panel>printers and other hardware> game controllers, then pull up the properties. That is, if you CAN get it on a PC, the PS3 TE hasn’t been the friendliest with PCs. Then check the directions in there. Else, pop in Street Fighter, or otherwise, and turn on the input displays, and test from there.

But why did you swap your TE’s stick? You swapped a JLF-8YT-SK for JLF-8YT-SK.
