Yeah I agree that Southwest should be AZ + Texas (Jesse Captain). Maybe have an online tourney to decide other members Jesse? I dont know, but SW def needs a team.
This would make it an odd number for tourney, so just add another SRK wild card team. Then we will have 10 teams. I dont like single elim, but i guess it cant be helped. Luck of the draw. Might be So cali vs nor cali first round hahahahah

Yea the ufo tournament can be the SW regional if they are allowed to have a team. That seems like the logical place to have it imo.
Not including a southwest was an oversight on my part. SW is in over Japan. I’ve clarified some rules regarding character picking and player origin.
The final format will probably not be straight up elimination because of the player/character variety issues brought up in this thread. I’ll update the rules when we have a final format.

ps - Honestly, I have no problems with the japanese getting in. I think we should let them in. EVO is a world wide event, so saying all regions includes japan as well as the other international players. We have players from all over the world, so having an international seat does actually make sense.
Put those bastards back in there. Dont deny us a chance to beat their ass at another SF …OUR SF =)

Edit - I think you should rename ‘SRK Wildcard’ and make it ‘SRK International’, making it a team for Non-USA SRK members (Like our friends from Canada, Mexico, UK, etc). Make Jinrai captain, and make him only pick one player from each non-US country (so he cant load up with japanese players).
