Thanks! My goal is to have the interview be valuable to both top players and players trying to come up.
That sounds like a vote for Sanchez to me!
Good work, Ryan!
You should interview a couple of Jap players when you’re in Japan:badboy:
Great job! Really good questions.
Good shit! I’ll definitely be listening to this (especially kofiend).
I seriously would like it if Sanchez or any other top level Alex player was interviewed.
I’ll donate $10 if you do so.
Also, can you please ask the players about proper dashing to control the pace of the fight? I’ve been thinking and using that more lately. Thanks in advance.
Open up the Sanchez interview with a montage of his yelling during matches. That’d be hype shit.
yeah i see your point…but the one thing with online players is that most of them play due to not having the competitive scene as other places which could possibly explain how they arent noticed…i play online myself but im also a predominately offline player…its just with me living on Long Island…pricing and other complications get in the way of me getting to the city for tournaments…let alone traveling to other states…most of the time its not just being scared or backing away its just when a tournament presents itself…its just not that easy to get up and say “Let me join this tournament”
i wouldve done that myself 2 yrs ago but unfortunately i wasnt able to due to my age…and now and days tournaments just dont show up in the NYC as they used to or even have as much competition…just cuz ppl offline say “omg Jwong is going” they dont show up and that kills the tournament scene for us…but hey thats just me though…most online players arent capable of traveling which is the reason why they play online
well said…
Curious, how much does it cost to get from LI to CTF or wherever a tournament is being held in the city?
well it mostly depends on the traffic from LI to the highways then from there to the bridge then finding parking in chinatown itself…and if you go to a parking lot you pay even more…it costs money…enough money to have someone like me say its not worth going there for casuals if i can do the same online at the cost of a few frames of delay…small price to pay
besides you would have to pay for parking depending on how long you stay and for a tournament at CTF…who knows how long it would take and how much it would cost…and this is all without food (i think food might be cheap IIRC)
all summed up in a nutshell a trip to the city would cost at least 80-100 ROUGHLY…pricing is no joke especially with those GDLK gas prices…its unblockable unfortunately
I was quite surprised that Amir did not know how the buffered lightning legs work so I decided to make a video.

why dont you just take the LIRR isnt it like 6 bucks on the weekend?
i pay roughly 16 dollars to get to a cf tournament. after average singles entry (5 dollars), plus approx the 2-3 dollars i spend on tokens to pay my way through, it costs me 25 dollars to enter a shitty cf tournament on sticks im garbage with lol
i’m guessing this was posted on denjin.

New podcast is up, just does it doesn’t work :/. I hope it will be soon up and working :).
Yeah, just confirming that the new podcast doesn’t load. (The built in player, nor the MP3 link.)
Sorry about that, I fixed it.
This and Pyro are the best podcasts imo. Great shit.
Lol at Pro Players diet…I remember that shit, Duc and Valle would stay up all night long the night before a marvel tourney and would get like 1st and 2nd way back in the day
actually, derran, joe, bob and kesh all come from LI to CF every week, gas is high but i wouldn t imagine the cost being over 10~15 bucks. theres also public parking or theres public transportation. fridays are packed with alot of players too even if there isn t a tourney the next day. if you wanna play on jpn controls, you can always set something up to meet people at web2zone or at someone’s place, not sure if castle golf(LI) still hosts the fight nights but thats another opportunity to play offline as well. its really not that hard if you wanna play offline(theres at least 15 people within a 30 minute distance from my place). living in LI, the drive can t be longer than an hour.
theres really no reason to settle for online play if you live in the tristate area.
Might be offtopic but does FFA have jap or us sticks on 3s machines?
