The purpose is to get JRVD to top 5 and MYK to top 8. Everything else that can be gleaned from the experiment is bonus. Hopefully this will spark a lot of discussion as to why they succeeded/failed as well/as poorly as they did as the weeks go by.

Really cool podcast, gootecks. Both players seem really chill after hearing their backgrounds and I’m curious to see how it plays out. Your idea kinda reminds me of some reality shows like ‘the contender’ (boxing) or ‘the ultimate fighter’ (martial arts). Maybe you should get another top player like edma to train two other pupils for some added competition lol. Anyways, good luck coaching; I like where this is going.

Thanks, hopefully I can keep it interesting. Maybe getting other players to take on students is something we can do in the future. Like a season 2 type of thing.
Do it! Right now, my notebook has a Dr. Dre sticker that says “Ain’t a thang to me, cuz i’m what they call a loc’d ass O.G. Dre Day 2003, Life sucks die muthafucka.” There’s a little bit of trivia right there lol.
