out of all the (pro players) podcasts… seems like only justin wong had a USA pride… “fuck japan USA is better” attitude… almost everyone else was plain and simply puttin US players down and downtalkin… almost like they were japanese themselves lol

although justin’s certainly one of our best players, he’s not going to be winning SBO anytime soon in 3s. it’s just a fact. pride isn’t going to cover that up. the best way is to learn from the best players and in this case it’s the japanese.

It’s just a mindset for tournaments and it works for him.

You certainly don’t want to be unnecessarily pressured by keeping in mind what your opponent has achieve or if he’s actually the best player in some category.

Hence, the results for justin keeping up with nuki at evo.

Sure there might be better chuns at the moment, but nuki is still a challenge for anyone.

here’s a urien tutorial i made that shows hand motions of certain tactics like charge partitioning and it also breaks them down so you can get a closer look on the timing of it

lol well Evo is comin in a few years for me…and im gonna SEE SBO next year in august lol

im glad my vids helped some ppl out…i plan on making more vids with other characters like yun, yang, ken, chun, maybe dudley, and makoto…ill mostly be covering the advanced tactics of those characters…like yuns kara palm, yangs SGGK set ups, kens Kara SRK, Chun’s Lighting legs and SGGK, dudley idk, and makotos SA2 100% stun and kara karakusa…if there are any other things you guys will want me to cover with any of these characters just post em and ill work on it…i hope these vids will help you guys up your game along with these podcasts :tup:

Wow, good work Nica! Thanks for contributing! I’m going to make a post on my blog with the videos so you get more views. Maybe it might be better to show the motions in slow motion when you are doing the “close up” shots?

no problem :tup:…you and some other ppl inspired me to do this…but yea i was planning on doing that but i figure i show it at normal speed to show the timing of the inputs…but maybe when i do something for the other characters ill do both normal speed and slow mo…ill probably be working on ken’s kara srk and i plan on getting the keeper jin down so i can do a yun- Kara palm and Keeper jin (possibly other combos) ill post them here
