What happen to the old podcast?
If Dudley somehow had Chun/Ken’s low forward, he could do low forwardxxSA1/3 (with hit confirming abilities). That would be sick, because he would have a much better approaching option on the ground than the duck or his other normals. At that point he might be 2 or 3. But with the normals he has, he can get messed up by fast or good poking characters.
Okay so sorry for being MIA for a while. Since I’ve been back I’ve basically been doing nothing but playing SF4. So basically, the URLs for the old podcasts didn’t work anymore because of the URL change. But I fixed that now.
I changed URLs because I’m giving denjin-video.com back to Shogo since it was originally his and he is opening his arcade with the same name. I am working with Video Game Central to exchange traffic and stuff. Also, they will be sending new fighting games to review.
As for the future of the podcast, I will be shifting it to SF4 and changing the name to The Street Fighter Podcast. Hope everyone is okay with that because 3s is basically dead here in SoCal. But don’t worry, the old episodes will always be up forever. Speaking of old episodes, gonna need an archive for the old Dr. Sub Zero episodes as well.
Also just put out the episode I did with HarmoNaz, Zak and Ryan Hart from the UK as well as Kai. It was recorded Evo weekend.
best podcast yet imo. these guys are real smart.

Also, I’m not sure how much positive feedback you’ll get, shifting towards SF4 but I, for one, think it’s a great idea. I look forward to hearing some in depth stuff on that game, especially since I’m probably not going to play it again until next year.
Oh yeah and the SBO vids were top tier!

Well it’s kinda hard to up your game in SFIV if you’re still hardcore playing a much older game. Makes sense. I’m sure I’ll be forced to stop messing with 3S for a while to get close to getting any good at SFIV. Especially if I’m going to using C.Viper a lot. I’m not sure yet. Depends on how good she ends up being. I might just use Ken as a back up against matchups that may be a pain for her like Honda and Zangief. We’ll see.

That was prob my fav podcast so far!
It had a good mix of topics, from players from v diff backgrounds of the game. I really liked hearing from Naz and Zak cause unlike the players interviewed before, they haven’t been playing for that long (relatively), and the scene here in the UK is quite sparse, so i could relate better to what they were saying. It was v motivational to hear their journeys from scrub to top player. Really hoping to get to london as often as i can when i’m back at uni and get playing you guys, as my matchup experience is v poor. (i’m a bit of a training mode junkie, so it was nice to hear zak works on it alot too!)
Was also cool to hear from ryan, even though it was brief, but you can just tell how much of a pro he is just by how well he could answer his questions.
Really looking forward to seeing the progression of Gooteck’s site, especially with the arrival of SF4, as the work and output from it has been awesome!

I’d like to know about that myself. I’m assuming a good bit of the So Cal 3Sers have already jumped ship to IV but some of them may decide to just get on with real life or something else. If I were Pyrolee I’d just stay in Japan. :lol:
