Kuroda DVDs are kinda overrated… well I only watched through the Ken one so far. He mostly beats on non top tier known players. The same characters over and over. I’m really dissappointed because i wanted to see atleast 1 Chun Li vs Kuroda Ken and there were none throughout the DVD.
I mean I guess $3 for 1 DVD thats 3 hours long is not too bad.
Most likely what will happen is that I will experiment with other formats, such as a roundtable discussion type panel where its more than just me and one player. I’ll present the topics and we’ll go to town on them. Another idea is to have character-specific shows where there are a few players talking about one character specifically. I’m hoping that if these turn out well, that people will continue to donate a couple bucks here and there, even though it’s not for a cause specifically like helping to pay for plane tickets. I’m hoping that people will see it as like 3rd Strike university, where tuition is whatever you think it’s worth.
Another idea is to try and find sponsors for the site and podcast. I’ve had almost 12,000 visitors in the past month so if anybody knows any companies or anything that might be interested in doing some advertising, please let me know.

In my opinion, it’s MOV. He had 40 or 41 in a row at Sakura before Ken I showed up and beat him. He was simply untouchable. But I haven’t seen Kuroda play yet so I don’t know.

Wow, Ryan, just watched the new vids on the Denjin Video Blog, very nice indeed. It was funny how you cut away from the SBO action and then when it came back you started talking to the guys about what you just seen. I know you couldn’t of recorded the footage but it was funny nonetheless, like you were desperately trying to tease us, lol. I’m defiitely buying this DVD and I think that everyone should, not just for the DVD itself but to give some kudos to Tougeki for organizing the event and making it so kickass! Before people start to rant about live streams and how it sucked, well, yeah, its bound to suck, and its bound to have parts cut out and stuff etc, you think Tougeki would show this year’s whole SBO on live stream? Lol?
