Just here to let ya’ll know I’ll be attending this years NYCC at the NYAF artist alley section.

Sounds cool! I’ve always thought about getting a table at smaller conventions but have yet to do so. Would you mind answering a couple questions for me? I looked on the NYCC site but couldn’t find out how they handle their artist’s alley as far as space allotted, selling art, and price to enter. Is there still time to sign up?

As far as I know it’s too late to register, I registered back in July. This is how they handled things, you have to fill out an application form, choose between a 3’ half size table or 6’ full size table. The 3’ cost I think around $225 and the 6’ full size was $275 (I got the full size cuz imma baller ^^). Then you sign the terms and conditions and mail it. That’s it! As far as selling your art you have to determine your own price range.

Yeah that really did help actually. It makes sense to pay the extra $50 for twice the space if you’re going to be there all weekend. I know some conventions have rules on what kinds of art you can sell (like copyrighted characters) and I’ve always wondered how people gauge how many prints they should bring.
