Chris’s theme sounded somewhat familiar, but I couldn’t place due to all the other sound effects
Sounds like Dante’s using Devil’s Never Cry from DMC3 which makes sense since that theme’s fairly iconic with the game.
I don’t much care for Thor’s, seems too pleasant and not as heroic/epic as it should be.
Thor’s is one of my favourites. It has a noble and ancient quality, it swells with epic majesty and heroic romance! One of the most unique and interesting of the themes so far in my opinion.

Im just disappointed there’s not enough space to have Dante’s theme with his actual lyrics.
Seems like something you’d hear in the background of somebody reciting an epic Norse legend. I love his theme, suits Thor in a mighty, yet mystical and heroic kinda way. But whatever, to each his own…

Yeah, Viper’s theme was one of my favorites from S/SFIV. I hope Capcom doesn’t… I dunno, overdo it, like they did to Joe’s theme in MvC3.
Why doesnt capcom do the same thing namco did with namco x capcom? instead of making silly bubble gum pop trash of the epic originals why dont they just use the original themes for nostalgic purposes? If namco x capcom did it, mvc3 can do it as well, cuz lets face it, most of mvc3 remixes are horrendous compared to their original versions. Marvel characters like Dorammu and Thor obviously need new bgm’s since they havent been in the vs series b4, or in thor’s case a playablew character, but characters like Chun Li and Captain America should have just kept their orginal mvc themes.
I mean at least the music in tvc was good such as soki’s theme, but the remxing in mvc3 is … eeewwwww

Namco x Capcom? Dude, that game did not use the originals, but made remixes.
Additionally, Soki’s theme in CGoH was ripped straight from the game IIRC.

Sounds like Wolverine is using his MVC1 theme from the latest gameplay video.
