Final Fight OST is indeed awesome. But as a “standalone” piece, I found the Metro City BGM pretty nice.
The other ones I’m sure it will grow on me eventually.
Daily Bugle stage theme gives me memories of the early EVO builds of the game. So surreal that it’s 4 days away…
The themes are good, no doubt, but they got nutin on characters themes.
Oh man, Metro City is awesome. Reminds me of Metallica’s Day that Never Comes remix in DJ Hero 2… but a lot better, lol.
I’ll probably bounce back and forth between using character and BGM depending on who I’m playing with at the time and the characters they are using. When playing online it will be BGM all the way.
The Daily Bugle is the only stage theme I like. As for characters, I LOVE the Hulk’s theme. Followed by Haggar, Morrigan and Iron Man’s.
Anyone have the voice tracks though? I’d love to hear what they are saying in both English and Japanese.
Also, did anyone notice in newer vids that the startup sound for Level3 hypers is different?
Loved the “Danger Room” theme and Jill´s, I was not expecting Sad But true RAVE but I kinda liked it.
Surprised they fashioned a Tron Bonne-themed stage, but not for Zero. Mostly since I could imagine a few VERY awesome stages from the X series (namely, the Highway Stage)
There’s a voice test for both English and Japanese in the options menu whenever the game comes out. Hearing the Deadpool quotes are pretty awesome. 
There are two options right by an option called “SE Style” which changes that sound. Dunno if other sounds change.
There’s also an option for commentary, it’s a bit chatty (I think you can hear it on some of the 1up videos featured)
I’ll be honest, the only Stage BGM I care for is Metro City. I still stand by that Dormammu, Zero, and Dante (in that order) have the best themes. They SO should’ve used the “Power Plant” theme for Spencer as a source for a remix; that was awesome! Then again, they should’ve also used his appearance from that game…
There’s a ton of good themes, though. Hopefully the inevitable Mega Man character (admit it; within the next year, you expect some kind of incarnation of the Blue Bomber) will boast something to blow all these foo’s away.
Personally? I’d love to see X jump onto the seen, with a guitar-heavy remix of Armored Armadillo. In fact, you don’t even have to have X; just give us Armored Armadillo’s theme!!!
If anything give him the beginning stage in X1 or X3 as his theme.
Another update to my ADX folder, if anyone is actually getting any use out of these.
Biggest change: All previously-uploaded files have been replaced with 48000Hz versions, thanks to the UOST from last page. This means sound quality should be improved.
Just for comparison, here’s what Capcom put out, compared to the OST:
Capcom: 160kbps, 44100Hz MP3
OST: 256kbps, 48000Hz MP3
Also, I added a few more: Hulk, Shuma-Gorath, Spider Man and Zero.
loving Chun’s theme… everytime i DHC her in the other music dies down and then out of the serenity Chun’s oldskoolish SF2 type theme starts up… it’s a great motivator
The stage themes are pretty good if you listen to them separately but I honestly don’t think they flow well in the game them self, I definitely prefer the character themes when playing the actual game, as long as you get a mix of characters with good themes of course… also I prefer the switching since it’s more like x-menvssf instead of mvc2…
Are there remix settings for the stage and character themes as well? Because just about all of these songs (character and stage themes) have two or three alternate versions. Or is it like SF4, where the music changes to the more intense, remixed version once your total health gets to a certain point?
The Kattelox Island remix sounds like straight up epic boss fight music.

I just hope that if we get X, that whatever song they choose is from the first X game. Or at the very least one of the first three X games.
X1 Title and Storm Eagle theme are my top picks. I’m disappointed that the Zero song isn’t from X1 (or X3, I really like that one), but it’s still a kick ass theme, just not as kick ass…
